taste of the bitter sun whose reflection shines so brightly on me still sometimes you mistake night for day confusing feelings, is any of it real?

[this is based off of my own experience and interactions i’ve had with people, so take only what resonates]

venus in aries is the most passionate venus placement i have dealt with. honestly, bonnie and clyde type of high. loves to be treated like 'the prize', but does not want to be babied

yooo moon in pisces people, when they like you??? FAM it's like they worship tf out of you

i will always preach for moon opposite moon synastry. yeah, it can be disastrous, but when it's not, it's one of the most rewarding bonds you can have w/ sb (imo, but i may just be a lil crazy :P)

the 2h/8h placements that i've known tend to be extremely wary of their finances. i've seen some being super careful with their money, others (with for e.g moon in 2h or even taurus to a certain extent) go through periods of time where they don't waste a single cent and then BOOM self-indulge to an extreme. what i mean is, 2h/8h individuals and their relationship with money is... interesting to say the least haha

i think we need to talk about how sensitive aquarius placements are. not necessarily emotional, but they have a big heart for sure and really want the best for other people

on a less positive? note lol... libras (ESPECIALLY libra moons) love it when their partner is good looking. like when their s/o smells good, puts in effort to look presentable, they love that. it's superficial, but it it's important to them: the aesthetic, the harmony, etc

basically, i met someone. we have this really interesting synastry and one aspect *really* and i mean REALLY caught my attention

my moon squares his pof and his moon squares my pof. funniest, goofiest thing? we have a composite scorpio moon. i think that speaks for itself :P

on top of that, in his sr chart this year, he has a scorpio moon and i have a scorpio moon in my birth chart. i have no idea if this is all related or if it could mean something, but my brain just thinks "one is an incident, two is a coincidence, three is a pattern" haha

i'm sharing this honestly because i am hella confused. this is a person that i simultaneously learn a lot from, having a kind of connection that's pushing me further towards growth, yet it feels familiar, like in my bones type of situation, to the point where the connection pulls me back. i hope this made sense lol

it's extremely nerve-racking trying to understand if there is more "pull" or more "push" so i've been trying to study our synastry and composite charts to see if i am going delusional or not.

i'm going to name a few other aspects that we have that i believe will be able to explain what i just tried to convey better than i can:

to summarize, i am no expert in astrology, but i honestly feel that i've known this person before. i mean it to the point where when we are together the both of us are constantly getting dejavus.

the thing is, we are so different and yet on the same page, but i can't help but be divided mentally: is this "familiarity" something i should be wary of or should i let this play out because, in the end of the day, this is for sure going to involve a lot of character development

when it comes to synastry, i find that having moon-moon harsh aspects can be the most beautiful thing

having moon opposite moon can feel so calming in a way, because both of the people involved have core views on the world that are quite similar, even if the reason for why they have those reasons may differ; meaning convergent reasons pretty much

e.g a taurus moon and a scorpio moon: both treasure their loved ones like crazy; it doesn’t make sense to them, when they really care for someone, to just disappear from that person’s life. the way in which they show that care diverges, but the core “idea” still remains

it’s like each person is the “missing puzzle piece” of the other (you could say they are the other side of the coin), they complete one another, and if both parties work on the relationship and communicate, it’s quite easy to “fix” the issue, i.e to find common ground. in all honesty, i believe that sharing this aspect in synastry with someone can be one of the most transformative influences in one’s life, even if the relationship doesn’t last, one will always feel the connection and appreciate what they learned from it and how it changed them

on the other hand, if we look at this aspect from a not so optimistic lens, damn it can get real volatile real fast. the pair can clash non-stop, not really because they can’t understand one another (as mentioned above, there’s a lot of potential for mutual understanding), but because they don’t actively listen to what each have to say, resentment can linger in the air

having moon square moon is what i like to call “crazy fun”, meaning the relationship both feels amazing, and well it can be immensely fun, but it can also be very frustrating at times, like there is no hope/salvation when butting heads, i.e it can make one think “yeah... they’re not going to understand no matter what i do/say”

this square screams “frustration” to me, i feel like they can act like complete kids with one another and have this intense need for just sharing feelings and ideas, because everything about the other is new and different and that is exciting

generally speaking, one tends to feel attraction towards the other individual, whether romantic or not, there is a sense of magnetism and intrigue here. the amount of things you learn and discover with someone whose moon squares your own, it’s a whole new perspective (woooooooorld, a dazzling place i never knew <3) and it can be extremely fulfilling

not that this aspect indicates the lack of an emotional connection and depth, but there tends to be a lot of misunderstandings since the lenses with which each individual sees personal values and how they express their emotions is usually not compatible, i.e it diverges. so conjugating both emotional sides may be a bumpy road. in a more wholesome note, there tends to be a lot of honesty involved and listening

moon square moon is one intense hell of a ride that will open somebody’s eyes to things that maybe never even crossed their minds before and yes, it will push one out of their comfort zone emotionally (if they really do put in effort in the relationship) since it will sometimes require one to respect the other, even if they don’t comprehend for e.g the other person’s emotional reaction at all. being at peace with, and also respecting, differences and realizing they are not flaws is key

moon in cancer men are either great people, really caring and thoughtful or very calculating and manipulative, no in-between

no matter the sun-moon combination, gemini sun people can sometimes seem “far way”, i.e even if you are close to them, it can feel as though you still don’t know them. they have this ever-changing energy to them

it’s funny how most of the aquarius placements (in the big3 and literal stelliums) i’ve met have been very “trendy”, they follow trends and are up to date while, but somehow don’t look basic (if for e.g they are wearing something that is currently popular)

aquarius moon people can be soooooooo wise, they seem like they’ve introspected about a billion things for a billion years; conversations are always interesting, so if you’re talking with an aqua moon and it’s not mentally stimulating or fun, i’m sorry to break it to you, but you’re most likely the “problem” (imo, but it might be the fact that i am mercury dominant)

i view 8th house placements as extreme, let’s take chiron for e.g. i’ve met people with this placement that were extremely sexual, talked about it openly, admitted thinking about it often, etc; and i’ve met people with the exact same placement that had a completely divergent attitude towards it, either running away from it or being extremely private and/or wary

from the people that i’ve known and met, istg pisces moon people have to the most caring, like they care so much, they can sometimes blame themselves for shit that they couldn’t even control, just because it caused somebody else pain. yet, if you are dead to them, if you betrayed them... oof being masters at ghosting (and some can be extremely petty), it’ll be like you never existed

scared of it, if i'm being candid with you and i am keeping it real with you sure, it'd be nice to feel your skin true, prioritizing myself is something i have yet to 'in-still' (still) in my brain the fear is going in

the awareness of weakness is not something i want to proudly affirm the emotions i so much try to detest are tired of it, they started to protest ticking time bomb, dangerously living no one questions, 'cause they also don't invest in feeling

i almost put geology in the “side quests” category and it’s, quite literally, my major 💀.  i’m just gonna share the stuff that i am most passionate about like crystallography (my one true love). if i mention anything related to, for e.g, sedimentary petrology, it’ll probably be because it is essential to do so (metamorphic r the best, i said what i said).

chapter 1: paradise

never in a million years did i even FATHOM that one day we would get to witness the beauty of the fairy realm. 12 y.o me reading the first book would have been on their knees. there’s sth abt the way brandon mull described the place that just had me: 👀. i also think it’s beautiful how it didn’t even cross kendra’s mind to keep the fairy queen’s crown, because it truly shows what kind of person kendra really is yk. now, don’t come @ me for this, but for some reason i find the fairy king creepy??? idk how to explain it, but bad vibes is what i get from him, although i do agree with him and his choice to want to leave the fairy realm. last thing i want to mention is how bracken is treated by his parents. i get that these are times of war, but my brother in christ, it seems to me that bracken is just a mere errand boy most of the time.

chapter 2: lanfall

disclaimer: seth is my fav mc, so always take my thoughts on his chapters with a grain of biased salt. i love me some hermit trolls, they just have this “annoying younger sibling” energy and we love to see it. bubda and hermo supremacy fr. calvin didn’t do much for me so i need to “calviiin can do do sumn for mehh” to spice things up. seth was sething the entire time, striving to do things that have like a 99.9% death rate (aka, in today’s schedule: casual tourism in the troll valley) and that’s crazy, but u didn’t hear that from me, you heard from my boi hermo: “you crazy. talk to fishy. fishy crazier. listen to you”. the leviathan deserves to eat the meal of their life after putting up with this unpredictable trio playing with potatoes for god knows how long. i hope my bro rests and eats a fine ass meal.

chapter 3: danger

i don’t have much to comment tbh i didn’t enjoy this chapter much. the attack felt mostly out of place, not that it didn’t have a reason to be, but it seemed off. idk how else to describe it. on a side note though: it seems to me that knox’s personality is lacking, pretty much what i’m trying to say is that i find him to be a boring character. there is nothing for me that really draws me to him and makes me genuinely interested and that may be why i didn’t enjoy this chapter much, but it is what it is.

chapter 4: disaster

i love how kendra lowkey became a farmer lol. and how quicly she planted the seeds, like 😭 don’t u have to prep the soil and make sure that it’s compatible with the plant you’re planning to grow? anyways, baga loa is the mc here  so let’s give her her moment to go off (a moment of silence). it never ceases to surprise me how creative some of these artifact names are, like bruh “harp of ages”? “sovereign skull”? idk there’s sth so simple abt them, but also realistic which makes it so effective to me. also, i love how easily persuaded kendra is, i feel like if i ask her nicely with manners just abt anything she will say yes. she is too sweet and gullible sometimes (too her own detriment: gavin flashbacks).

chapter 5: troll tavern

i loved this chapter sm. from the slave premise to the calvin expert gossip girl skills. i’m a fan of the troll tavern too and that cow cheese they have. idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but i honestly love seth x ronodin. to see seth as a shadow charmer prosper and nurture his skills is awesome and tbh i feel like a proud to see how much bolder seth has gotten. he has always been brave, but lately it just seems like is unstoppable, which might be because he doesn’t have anything to lose, but this is truly his calling. some of us will be doctors, some will be geologists, some your fav local bartender and seth... a legend.
