FRUTAS is a Los Angeles Street Style Magazine Inspired by Harajuku's FRUiTS Magazine
FRUiTS Magazine/Harajuku inspired a group of creatives in Los Angeles to start a similar street style magazine called FRUTAS to document Los Angeles street style, with a focus on "uplifting the intricacies of Chicano and Latino culture".
Recent street style looks shot in Harajuku with Oversized Menswear, Y2K, Goth, Kawaii & Lolita! Song by Harajuku personality @RinneAmano. Everyone we know is tagged on Instagram.
making another humanization au despite the worm in my brain telling me i shouldn’t. what if the students were actual students
notes:
they’re like. in the horrible starting period of adolescence. so like 12-13? red got a growth spurt and is taller than most of his classmates. duck’s voice cracks every 10 seconds.
i wanna make it clear that the stuff they’re in trouble for is not necessarily a problem. their school is really strict and does not accept deviation from what they’re “supposed to” do well.
i mean duck blowing up at classmates is a dick move though. but i think the guy would be like I Have To Win At School in this kind of environment
they have uniforms bc it makes sense. i don’t want to design casual outfits right now bc i Need To Make Sure that it doesn’t end up exactly the same as my other humanizations
none of them are in any other classes with each other. they don’t even know each other’s names. but they are basically perma-detentioned so they get to know each other. i want to say that they try to walk home after detention and not pay attention to each other but it turns out their homes are all in the same direction. or they all take the same bus or something.
maybe there’s some breakfast club energy here
a different teacher supervises them each time and either the teacher drives these guys mad or these guys drive the teacher mad. so it’s basically normal dhmis but with more horrible teen energy. but let’s be real the guys in normal dhmis act like petty children half the time anyway.
