as someone that doesn't know who they are, can you explain who and what nessie and bo have done?

this might be long, so i'm really sorry for that, but here's everything i know about them and why them being back is an issue

please don't bother any of the blogs linked about this. nessie and bo have hurt a lot of people, and g especially has had to communicate most of the racist actions of white ppl in the rpc a lot of the time (sidenote: g is the freaking best), also do not interact with nessie or maric (bo?), it's really not worth it. just give them a block

nessie was a pretty big rph/rpt type blog, they went by the url ohscerpcnts and also for a lot of time in the rpc used the alias scout. they posted a lot of period fc gif packs, adminned some popular groups, and made a lot of really popular psd templates that a lot of people shared. on top of the resources, they were also one of the big sort of "personalities" in the rpc at this time, they shared thoughts and critiques like most everyone did but they were like, for lack of a better word, mostly really shitty takes. (if they are sigi, which they are almost confirmed to be, their pronouns are they/them, so that's what i'll be using. i think they may have used she/her pronouns back at this time, though, hence the anons language).

back in 2020, this ask was published regarding nessie making an oc who was a white male politician for the sole purpose of making fem characters and characters of color uncomfortable, taking on a victim role after being kicked out of the rp, and overall just not caring who they hurt. the original ask is published here, where the anon states nessie's url outright. people would then come forward with many stories about nessie including them bullying a lot of members of the rpc and even more racism. all of this can be found in this tag. i can't find a specific post about this, but i recall there being an instance where nessie and their friends were sort of joking about diversity being required, and said that they don't want to play faceclaims they aren't attracted to, which sort of implied they found fcoc unnattractive (this one is straight from my, admittedly shit, memory, so it may not be 100% accurate!!)

bo, i remember a lot less, and couldn't find as much, so this won't be nearly as detailed. bo's url was bojanglesrph, and they also posted a lot of gif packs for period fcs and a lot of "hot takes". the situations i can recall regarding bo are: a person talked about wanting to make/be in a harry potter roleplay that was all gender diverse characters and characters of color. bo almost word for word posted the same thing, without the poc part. from everything i remember, bo was VERY passionate about trans representation, but also very white. they were at the forefront of a critique in the rpc at the time about specific white trans users only caring about white trans issues. bo also either joined or highly recommended paxamericanarp, a political rp that had very insensitive and shitty content, especially in their skeletons. you can find a post about that rp here, but the rp itself as well as anything showing bo's support of it are gone now. last year, bo's blog was remade to post resources but bo stated that they would not be returning to the rpc "don't worry", also posting nessie's resources on top of that.

i'm gonna give maric the benefit of the doubt and reference him as a different person from bo. maric, url viciousvoiid, is also a period rper, and very close to sigi (has refered to them as a wife/spouse a LOT, interacted heavily especially in 2021) maric accepted nessie/sigi into their rp thedoomhq despite being told about their history of racism, and after a user posted about this, he would then go back and unlike all of her posts that he had previously liked about native issues in the rpc. bo or not, he excuses racism when it's his friends and his allyship is conditional

all in all, just block them tbh
