My friends and I were talking about what types of characters we seem to be drawn to in media and I had a hard time pinpointing mine until I had a realization the other day about why I like nerdy/scientific characters (tf wheeljack, tmnt donatello, etc)

I think I discovered that it's cause they remind me of that part of myself that gets super passionate and enthusiastic about things no matter the size/scale. Cause apparently I got the neurodivergency that just makes you happy and excited about everything pertaining to something you enjoy (I don't know if I have adhd or minor autism so at this point I just say I'm neurodivergent), and while that's great I also can't help but feel like I'm obnoxious and annoying. So being able to connect with characters like that is great. I love them

#you gotta have your favorite character (kup and hot rod / rodimus)#and then you gotta have the characters you love because connect with on a deeper level (wheeljack)#it's funny too cause before I got into TF my friends said i would like wheeljack #and while I most definitely do i did not expect him to be this category of favorite (he reminds me of myself in a way)#idk. interesting topics we talk about sometimes #sorry i just love rambling about my favorite characters sometimes and it's interesting seeing why i like the characters i do shehehdhehdhd #blue crying over nonsense
