Baby unicorn amigurumi from #amigurumitoday Made for a toddler so I decided to make my own eyes instead of using safety ones. Please excuse the messy background. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCmcULKBHMC/?igshid=1e55fake3r6ut

It’s taken about two years working off and on, but I finally finished my cosmic blanket. https://www.instagram.com/p/CCZMV6BBfxF/?igshid=q0r27o0jh6lg

Another Mandala design. This one was much faster to do (a day vs a week)—something I’m going to put down to practice. Drawn in procreate on an iPad Pro. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAspT2GB4bI/?igshid=1ea0xu17gqekw

Starting a #100dayproject to work on my drawing skills (technically I’m on day 5 now, as I’m a bit of a slow poke). Rather than picking a specific subject to focus on, I’ve decided to simply make it 100 days of procreate. This week I’m focusing on learning to draw mandalas. Here’s the first one. It kind of reminds me of a snowflake. A really spiky snowflake.... https://www.instagram.com/p/B_guWVfB1ru/?igshid=lya96tztkloq

Working on a new amigurumi, if these legs don’t drive me crazy first. I don’t think I’ve ever done anything as fiddly. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByJJsIxBWNw/?igshid=thefyxcdzw41

Decided to start a second Phoenix, this one in Lion Brand Mandala in Troll. I cut the colours to control the flow a little on the first two parts, but after the next one I’ll probably stop that and just let it flow. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bx2__RJBAoo/?igshid=q4m088x6pu1z

Part of Phoenix done just in time for part three tomorrow. I’m making this with Hobbii’s cotton Twirls yarn. Can’t wait to see how it looks when more colours start coming through. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bxz0EQNBFRg/?igshid=1fri4kf6yzyz4

After a month of working on it, it came off the blocking mats today. I’m a little disappointed that the colour changes in this particular yarn ended up being too speckled to show parts of the pattern clearly, but you live and learn. I plan to try this again with a different colourway or perhaps a different yarn. This was going to be another wall hanging but I think I will find another use for it instead. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxkEXBhB0l2/?igshid=1mwuvpt7vld33

When you realize that you took photos of the wrong side of a project. 🤦♀️What can I say? Clearly I needed more coffee. Here is the right side. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxddPd0BF1_/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=ignkckba3vbc
