Zooble crashed into a brick wall...

Zooble crashed, ringmaster and all.

Caine had no horses, but all of their friends

tried to put Zooble together again!

Zooble's eyes looked up at their friends, who were scrambling to put all of the pieces back together.

Gangle was distressing over the scattered pieces, which was nothing out of the ordinary. Zooble knew that she would eventually help put them back to normal.

Kinger was already figuring out which pieces were which and where they were supposed to be. As far as Zooble was concerned, he'd already gotten started! Bubble was floating by him, no emotions behind that creepy smile. There was nothing new here, but this was of no help or consolation to them.

But what also caught Zooble's attention was Eggbert ripping Caine a new one.

"CAINE ALBUS INDIANA NEWT ENGLISH! HOW DARE YOU STEAL AND TURN ZOOBLE INTO A CAR! WE ARE ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED! YOUR BROTHER PAINE IS FACING AN INQUIRY AT WORK AND IT'S ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT! IF YOU PUT ANOTHER TOE OUT OF LINE, WE ARE GOING STRAIGHT HOME!"

Zooble had to admit- it was kinda funny to watch the normally well-tempered Eggbert absolutely lose his (censored). Though weirdly, she swore she'd heard those words somewhere..

That, and he took the words right out of the hole in her head. Zooble never liked any of Caine's adventures. And that therapy session and that Spudsy's fiasco- made Zooble want to abstract.

Like Gangle, Zooble knew Eggbert would eventually help put all of her pieces back where they belonged- that is, after he ran out of hot air to spew at Caine.

Zooble also wondered where Jax, Pomni and Ragatha were, but figured that she and her friends could only start looking for them AFTER they'd put her pieces together again.

"Kevin, Zooble is a they/them." That I understand, but @gooseworx said in one post that Zooble is okay with any pronoun. And Ashley Nichols, Zooble's VA, uses she/they pronouns, which led me to believe that they are interchangeable.

"Kevin, why'd you not include Pomni, Jax or Ragatha? Where are they?" That's for me to know and for you to keep pondering! 😁

"Kevin, did you rip those names for Caine from popular movies-" You heard me, I ain't repeating myself!

"Kevin, what led you to draw this?" When I saw these takes on Instagram, I was enamored by their designs. I'm a huge fan of history and culture, something that influenced my choice of courses for my next college semester.

Given that, the fact that I'm a Filipino who loves his country dearly, and the relationship Eggbert would have with Pomni, Gangle, Zooble and Ragatha, I was tempted to draw all of them until I finally gave in.

I also have a crazy hunch that this is actually historically possible. My country's got a long history of accepting refugees escaping war and persecution- even while we had yet to achieve full independence, as in the case of 1,200 Jews who sought refuge here before WW2.

You know the drill! I hope you like it, feel free to ask, especially if you have requests, but I don't do commissions!

Since Ragthy Ann and Chesire Jax

(and Pomni) got the old switcheroo,

my mind went to some folks who I thought

should get that treatment, too!

I've switched their roles around, that's what! This has been a project I've been aiming to do since @endomentendo swapped Pomni, Jax and Ragatha's roles in the Wonderland AU.

Caine, Bubble and Jeffery are now the Red Rulers' most trusted advisers and confidants, who take care of their royal itinerary, but are still trying their best to shield the Red Court from their abuses.

Kaufmo now has the role of the Chesire Cat, whereas Eggbert and Rothbaird...

... oh dear, it seems I added too many tablespoons of CRAZY to their roles. Hopefully the lucid drops should take care of it all.

As anyways, I hope you like the reference sheets.
