Quinta actividad

El 26 de octubre nos reunimos en el parque constitución para jugar un partido de fútbol con los chicos, esto con la intención de fomentar la practica de actividad física entre ellos y instruirlos en como prepararse para hacer ejercicio por lo cual se hablo del calentamiento antes de jugar y de como se lleva a cabo para no tener algún tipo de consecuencia después de terminar de hacer ejercicio. A la actividad nada más acudió Ángel pero aunque solo asistiera el se llevo de buena manera la actividad pues se noto que disfruto mucho de la misma y que al mismo tiempo va a servir para sus futuras actividades físicas.

Cuarta Actividad

El 19 de octubre llevamos a los muchachos al restaurante de comida rápida Carl´s Jr. para hacer que estos se desenvuelvan de buena manera en los espacios donde no están acostumbrados a estar y con personas no tan apegados a ellos, a la actividad asistieron varios muchachos de los cuales entre ellos estaban Arturo, Ángel, Luis Enrique, Gualberto, entre otros. En la actividad se sintieron bien y lograron comprar su comida sin mayores contra tiempos pues lo único que se tuvo como percance fue al momento de recibir el cambio junto con el número para recibir la comida y ademas con el vaso de refresco en mano estos no podían sujetar todas las cosas, aparte de ese contra tiempo la actividad fue un éxito para los muchachos.

Tercera Actividad

En este día asistimos al boliche que se encuentra en galerías para así reunirnos con los muchachos de Tres21, esto con la finalidad de que los chicos experimenten una salida con amigos en la que no sean dependientes de sus padres. En el boliche nos reunimos con bastantes miembros de la organización aproximadamente 7 teniendo como nuevos participantes a Arturo, Omar y Jorge que se desenvolvieron muy bien en esta que fue su primera actividad, ya en el boliche ellos compraron sus lineas y alimentos para así jugar junto con nosotros por lo cual el resultado fue divertido y positivo en cuestión de avance.

Segunda Actividad

En nuestra segunda actividad nos reunimos en el zoológico con el objetivo de seguir fomentando la autonomía en los muchachos en cuanto a independencia en situaciones que ocurren cuando sales a un ambiente de índole social, ese día acudieron  tres miembros de la organización Tres 21 y sus nombres eran Gualberto, Ángel y Luis Enrique, gracias a que fueron más integrantes en esta ocasión pudimos trabajar y desarrollar lo que se quiere con más personas, además que ahora sabemos la situación de las dos nuevas personas que fueron y podemos plantear estrategias para dichos casos. En este día lo primordial fue el socializar con ellos cuando al mismo tiempo estos se desenvolvían cada vez mejor al tomar confianza con nosotros, al mismo tiempo ellos compraron toda su comida y fueron responsables de si mismos aunque nosotros estábamos ahí para solucionar cualquier problema que pudiera surgir.

Primera Actividad

En nuestra primera actividad decidimos reunirnos en el cine para poder ver una película con los miembros de Tres21 los cuales al ir con nosotros a experimentar esta actividad iban a valerse por si mismos en el rubro de compra tanto del boleto de la función como de la comida que iban a consumir dentro del mismo, esto con el propósito de que aprendan a ser independientes para así asegurarles un buen futuro autónomo. Ya en la experiencia, no todo fue como esperábamos pues solo asistió un integrante del grupo pero a pesar de esto se vivió una buena experiencia que cumplió con el objetivo con la persona que asistió y nos permitió el adaptarnos de buena manera a la convivencia con los miembros de dicho grupo, para mí fue algo divertido y al mismo tiempo si tuvo un impacto en esa persona pues hizo todo por su cuenta cuando su madre nos dijo que nunca lo había logrado.

Weekly Report #3

This week I worked on the food collection with my partners, together we received food this whole week until Friday and kept promoting the food collection around students. Besides promoting and receiving the food this Saturday we finally took all of it to the food bank where we weigh it, classified it and deliver it to the workers that gave it to the families; in addition, we also helped to carry boxes of food and calculating how much food was going to be delivered in that same day. To end with, when I was doing this, I felt great because I finally looked the faces of those who received the food and how much that was worth for them, the feeling of knowing the person you helped is indescribable, but I can say that this activity was completely needed for my development as a human been that is growing to care and help others.

Weekly Report 2

This week I keep working on the food collection along with my partners, together we paste publicity in the blackboards of the second and first building and we send the image of the poster to all the groups we have access to promote the collection around students. Besides promoting we started collecting the food at the central hallway, but to start the collection we needed some things so we asked the right people at Tec to help us with a table and three chairs, it was kind of difficult to get those things because it was not an essay task to fulfill with all the requirements you need to make a petition. Finally, we got the materials by Thursday and we started collecting food through all the rest of the week. The time spent to do all this was around three hours. When I was doing this, I felt good with myself because I was actually helping people, when I received the food, I changed completely my mind about how I was going to feel doing the collect, obviously, I changed my mind because it passed my expectations.

Great work, you must be proud

★First week ★

Hi again, everybody. Great changes have emerged, since my last post. One of the main ones is that I have decided that I will donate my time to an NGO that helps low-income children by giving them joy through different activities and courses. But the most important thing is that it gives you values of: moral, aesthetic, intellectual, emotional, social, physical and economic. The name of this non-governmental organization is Los Alamitos IAP. During this week, I met with other classmates who will also be doing their social service in the same NGO as me. We agreed on what activities we would do with the children during the week. In my first visit I had a great time. When arriving at the place there was no child but little by little they were arriving and integrating to the activities. We start with some outdoor activities such as the conductor, sea and land, Simon says, among others. Which helped me to know the children not only from their name but also what they like to do and their attitude. My favorite activity and I think also that of the children was cooking cookies.  In this week I take as learning that it is very important to learn to listen to others, in this case to the children to consider their opinion since the most important is that they will have a great time forgetting about problems and just smile and be happy for a while.

Weekly Report #1

In the first week of the social service, I went to Parroquia San Pío (which is a part of Cáritas) and I packaged pantry with the help of other people, first I opened the bag and I put soup and flour into it, then other people put rice, tomato puree and beans into it and other people tied the bags, and we packaged around 160 bags of pantry to hungry people. With this, I felt very good because I know I am helping other people with small actions and they would be so grateful for this because they are people who need a lot of food and who lack of basic needs, and it is not fair that there are a lot of hungry people in the world, so it is always good to help those people with this kind of actions.

WEEKLY REPORT 1

23/02/2019

This Saturday I went to parish church San Pio, my task was to make food pantries with another group of friends. We made a system of stations for making the work more efficient. I was in charge of moving the containers with the pantries and providing them with materials for the other people who was working with me. Also, I was doing the final step of the system which was to tie the bags and putting them in containers. We last working for 3 hours until we finally complete 228 food pantries for donation. The content of the pantries was 2 pasta soups, 1 bag of beans, 1 bag of rise, 1 tomato puree, 1 knor soup and a kg of flour. As a result, we fill around 10 containers of our pantries, which were distributed this Tuesday 26 to families with scarce resources of that colony. I felt very good doing this activity, because I was aware of the impact that my actions were doing and that they would serve to help many families that need us. Also, Caritas is a group that have only volunteering, so they received us very kindly.

Weekly Report 1

Two Fridays ago, I went to “Mercado de Abastos” along with Alberto because there it is located the food bank, we went there with the purpose of reaching an agreement to do our 9 hours work. The person in charge told to us that they wanted us and other volunteers to make a collect in Tec, he explained to us that making a collect has more positive results in volunteers because you can help others with your effort and at the same time you are promoting good actions in daily life, I liked the idea so we established that we would make all the arrangements to make the food collection; therefore, me along with the support of other students and our teacher, got the approval to do it. When I was at the food bank, he showed us what they do there and how they help people, we saw how food is packaged to deliver it to people that need it. I do not know the exact quantity of time this took but approximately there were three and a half hours. When I was doing this, I felt really good because even though it could be said I am not making a change yet, I know that all the previous organization is very important for the final result that is going to help people that is starving and in risk of losing their lives.

Letter

Hi, my name is Kevin and I want to support huellitas due to what they want to accomplish because I think it is amazing how they want to help the world by helping the animals. Above all, I have to do a project for my English class in which I have to spend 15 hours doing social service as a volunteer on an NGO; as a consequence,  I want to be part of your organization, but I especially choose yours because of the help you bring animals in bad conditions and that will have as a consequence an impact in the life of animals hopefully for a better one; in addition, I will have the disposal to do almost anything to help the animals washing animals, carry things like food, and many other things I can do to help. Finally, an advantage is that I have the time to do it because I can stop going to basketball on Thursdays and at Sundays I have the free day to help the cause; on the other hand, the places where the NGO takes place is far from my home but I will not mind because I am going to accomplish my purpose. At this time, I hope you fully understand my purpose and my motivation for being a volunteer of huellitas.
