GOOOSH I'm disappointed with new book Battle of scars. Extremly with Cal's and Merrin's relationships.

Like I'm not against the people who are happy with it, congrats.

But for me it was like fanfic from 15th years old girl. Ok,i hoped for Cal x Merrin as canon, 'cause it could be really great story about platonic love. And if you even don't wanna make them together, there still can be Tristan and Isolde or Syrano de Berjerak relationship.

But we have Merrin who falls in love with everyone and had a lot of dates. And this "some very pretty ghosts on Dathomir. Very good kissers." LIKE C'MON THEY'RE ALL DEAD.

I don't think that at this point it's respect for character.

And no, i don't think that they should end happily ever after, there could be a lot of tragedy. And in the end it should be. And for me Merrin it's smth like Arya and Sansa characters together.

Sooo perhaps it doesn't matter we still have fanfics and i hope this ship will grow, 'cause it one of the most healthy and beautiful relationships.

BUT STILL SHE'S THE GIRL IN HER 17-18th, I THUNK SHE WOULD LIKE TO TRY SOMETHING NEW AND ALSO BE CHARMING!

'couse in my veiw it's normal to change, when you're young and see so much different worlds. I think in the year with the Mantis team she will be smile a lot, be more calming and beautiful young girl who also is very intellegent, and read a lot of books.

And also I find stupid, that many describe her as she knows nothing about outside world, 'cause she just shows us, that she has a brilliant mind sooo

There was no classic fiction on Dathomir? I don't think so, I like to imagine that when she was alone she was reafing a lot, not only about magic but also about fiction and watever....
