The TITANIC OVERLORDS tumblr page is up and running. Thanks to the folks that helped name it and get the basic rules sorted with me.
This is an introduction and a basic primer on TITANIC OVERLORDS, a new varient format for EDH/Commander.
TITANIC OVERLORDS is a format where you go big or go home. You play big spells, big creatures, you make big plays. Games are epic in scope. You never settle for the little picture; always aim big. Aim to be TITANIC.
Rules: The normal rules for Commander are used. See here for the basic gist of things. TITANIC OVERLORDS uses the following varient rules:
A bigger, blacker format: TITANIC LEADERS runs a 100 card singleton deck, excluding your Titanic Overlord. Your deck should have 101 cards in total.
MY NAME IS HUGE: Except lands, no card in your deck can have a CMC value less than 4.
Certain cards have to be restricted. Like all formats, TITANIC OVERLORDS has a banlist under the cut.
