Yeah...😭 As someone with chronic migraines, I wish my neurologist understood how bad it would get. Even after medication, it only made it more manageable. But where I am, just having the opportunity to meet a neurologist was a miracle.

Aaaaanyways. It was a 'oh, sweet summer child's moment for me. I also thought you were pulling my leg because I have a tendency to think the media I consume is popular.

It reminded us of how helpful technology could be, and how optimistic representation of technology could help. Instead we get...bleh...and, for me at least, I've almost been conditioned to think the worst of technology in the long run, especially in service of capital, and power.

I used to dream of cybernetics...but when all I've been exposed to is shit like neuralink...ugh...at least I know bionic limbs have come a long way though.

I wish they could invent a medical device that temporarily transfers your symptoms and pain to the doctor treating you and it worked like a shock collar. “I think light exercise would-.” and then bam they’re rolling around the floor clutching their stomach in agony and dry heaving.
