Mut is such an interesting character. He was not mad at all when Rak shouted at him and mind you, he said awful things. When he stood up, he did not do that to scare Rak or fight with him (a scene I will analyse in more detail, too). He picks up words and concepts that Rak uses instead of denying them. He agrees to being called a dog by turning it into something playful. He calls himself imaginative because Rak thinks that love is just a figment of imagination. He learns that Rak learnt from his mother that love must be bought, so he offers Rak to buy him. But instead of making an offer, he says you can have me for whatever you want to give. Mut is turning everything Rak says negatively into something more positive but in a way that Rak understands. I think his effort to understand Rak makes Mut such a wonderful character.
