Have you ever had food without pepper? It's Bland. It's like sitting in a windowless room. Not even worth eating. Sure salt is more important for survival but pepper is for actually enjoying the food.

i love that salt and pepper come in a set. here is salt, a building block of humanity, one of the basic human tastes, essential to life on earth, absolutely fundamental.

It's the same in German, but we have the word "Körper", so we have "perfekter Körper"

("Lich" is super archaic in German and no longer in the language.)

We also sometimes call the fields in a field extensions "Oberkörper" (upper body) and "Unterkörper" (lower body)

Did you hear they're calling fields which don't have non-separable irreducible polynomials "perfect"? Unbelievable. I mean, it's the bare minimum. The bar is on the ground.

As an update: love this thing and the old hard drive still works ok, but Rockbox has a few issues tbh. I might try putting the "Daily" release instead of "Stable" at some point if I find the time because there's been patches I guess that might fix my issue (below). If I wasn't on Linux I would probably just continue to use the stock software, flawed as it is, it's very stable and fairly well optimized.

Sometimes it crashes, which might have something to do with loading a new song from the database, possibly after startup, possibly to do with the age of the drive. It's work-around-able for the moment, but really annoying because when it happens I have to restart and reload the whole database, which takes a while with the slow drive. Basically if I get it out at the start of my commute, if this happens twice in a row, I'm not listening to any music the whole way.
