ok so i'm doing a thing:

I wanna fill this template with book-accurate asoiaf characters as a fun design exercise and info-dump about them, but I had a struggle picking just six, so I thought I would ask the council's opinion (you)

I started with Jon since there's a startling difference between him in the books and the show. He's supposed to be 14 at the start of agot (hence the round-ish , child-like face), and he's said to have pin-straight, dark hair and dark grey eyes. Also, it's said he always looks kind of guarded and solemn. bit of an emo.

I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

This is why I enjoy posting on r/imaginarywesteros more than say, twitter or Tumblr. People in there are always so eager to give their opinions on the characters I draw, share little tidbits of lore, it's always so much fun , and while I love Tumblr, I think the interactions here aren't as fulfilling sadly.

okay but there is something disquieting about this urge to cast fan writers as altruists. they give us all this for free!! well, no.

Danylla Targaryen is Daemon and Laena's first daughter. She has dark brown hair and lavender-blue eyes, and rides a male dragon named Comet. I'm so happy I get to design an OC inspired by my two favorite houses Targaryen and Dayne 💜
