it really is insane how waking up early will grant you access to some of the most beautiful sights and sensations in the world that will make you want to live forever, but only if you overcome the gauntlet of a thousand razors that is getting out of bed early. truly one of life's little saw traps.

HI HELLO!! Before I read the last chapter of User Reviews, I wanted to send this. My favorite part of the story has been the consistent and interesting world building. I've been wanting to ask how you came up with the vocabulary? Specially, how did you decide what phases would change? For example, the first time I read Lud Guck I was like "oh of course a society where every thing is planed and processed to the smallest detail would lose the concept of good luck, or at the very least, see it change over time" but I saw that in hindsight. And I've just been dying to know your process for coming up with these things.

This story will be sticking with me for years and I'd seriously recommend it to all sci-fi/dystopia lovers. Thank you for the time and care you put into writing and thank you for sharing it with us all.

I figured in a society where there’s no history, or where history is changing, they would have a bowdlerization of words and expressions we take for granted. (Side note: It was very difficult to find metaphors that didn’t involve nature or animals, since they have all been recycled!) I figured that whatever made its way down through the years would lose all original meaning, or be mixed up, like scrapeskiers, phone to brick with you, even botkak instead of bullshit. Because they don’t know what a bull is! 

My friend said it reminded them of this comedy sketch where anthropologists in the future attribute all these amazing events and people to the Beatles because, you know, how many things in history are we just assuming, or making up? Like that old meme about Cleopatra being closer in time to the iPhone than the Pyramids. But we kinda just lump her and them all together in the same time period.

As someone who spars with bigger and stronger people to train the anxiety out of my brain, I can safely say this works. Every once in a while the PTSD tries to come back but it's amazing how quickly the fight sense I've cultivated over the past 10 years shuts that little fucker down 🥰❤️🥰

(While they are bigger and stronger, never said they were better than me. Taking someone to the floor and having them look up at you and growl is truly empowering, Bokuto was right)
