I miss the days when I could drown my sorrows out with something to smoke and some liquor I won’t lie. Not a good coping mechanism and something I’d rather do to enjoy myself rather than sooth my emotions but now that’s not even on the table since I’m at this fucking group home.

27 in a group home shelter all because I couldn’t leave my nuclear family in the past. All because I didn’t plan well enough. I guess the upside is it’s pushed me to follow my dreams for real now. Nothing to do but invest in the things I really want to do now.

I’m tired, but I should be out of here soon enough. I’m taking a free music production class for the time being so I’ll be working on my craft from that. I wish I had put my insecurities away sooner so I’d be established in this sooner. I also need, sooner rather than later, to find a place to record. I’ll try to find somewhere in here. I made a promise to myself that I want to make at least one song before April is over, even if it’s bad. I just want to have something.

‘relationships are work’ means ‘you have to put effort into loving each other intentionally & learning how to love each other and communicating properly’ not ‘your relationship makes you feel stressed and sad most of the time & the other person disrespects you and treats you bad but you stay anyway’

I’ve decided this is it with my nuclear family

To make it long story short I went back to the U.S, back to her house.

Big fight broke out the day of my cousins funeral, now I’m biding my time until I can get back to LA. Currently in a safe haven.

I just want nothing to do with them people anymore. Any of my nuclear family. As far as I’m considered my mother, father and twin aren’t any of that to me anymore.
