W11: Midterm Pitching Experience
During midterm pitching, we chose our hipster, jamie .Our initial focus was on a strong presenter for our pitch, but the real win came from the judges' tough Q&A. Their critique, although challenging, exposed weaknesses in our strategy, market position, and value proposition. This forced us to re-evaluate our target audience. While their feedback wasn't easy to hear, it's been invaluable. It's pushed us to improve and make changes that will ultimately strengthen our venture.

W5 - Customer Segments
In Week 5 of our journey, we focused on identifying our top customer segments and developing value propositions for each segment.
Our research uncovered three vital customer segments for our rental marketplace: landlords, students, and regular renters. Landlords, the decision-makers for property listings, will utilize the platform as end-users to manage their rentals. Students, the driving force behind this marketplace idea, take on a triple role: searching and booking rentals as end-users, choosing their ideal properties as decision-makers, and handling payments as payers. Recognizing the broader potential, we've included regular renters who, similar to students, act as end-users, decision-makers in selecting their rentals, and payers managing their transactions. While all segments are important, we've established a primary focus on the student persona. By developing a detailed buyer profile (VPC) for students, we can gain a deeper understanding of their specific needs, behaviors, and decision-making process.

The name CLPQ will always remind of our family name because it might be give us a strength and power to pursue something new in our journey. In line with choosing what the team's name is, we also selected the who is suitable as a hacker, hound, hipster, and hustler. We based it with our individual skills and the results of the personality test we took on our first week. With Jay skills of programming and coding, we chose him as our team's hacker. He has a broad knowledge and deep understanding with how the coding work. He is the one who develops the new technology for the business, builds new product prototypes, and works on product development Jam is known with his creative mind in our college department. That given, we chose him as our hipster. she best practices in marketing, brand identity building, user experience, and the look and feel of the product. In most early-stage start-ups, the hipster is the copywriter as well. Next is Leonil. I have known him for a long time. He is best with his task. So, we decided to make him our team's hound. He is responsible in observing and interviewing multiple users, discovering patterns, and identifying areas of opportunity for the team to innovate. Lastly, the team's hustler. The visionary who sees the direction of the company and have the ability to unite and inspire the team. My personality goes with the hustler's attitude. So, I became the hustler. After choosing who is who, my team proposed 5 solutions to the 5 problems proposed. We gathered data by interviewing, analyzing, and recording the interviewee's point of views.
