To me ugly is consumerism. The idea that we, as a human race, are always marketed to need more, to have more. The result of overconsumption is the harm we cause our planet. That to me is ugly. Beautiful means many things to me, but in the case of this sketch, it is the natural beauty of the world without any human intervention.
