And to put a final period of the the last 3 years and the collaborative final film.
Sanctuary 11 was entered into “therookies”, an international online competition for young creatives.
Receiving an Editors choice and the official Ranking for the film. It truly is an honor to be even considered in the Rookies, and the work showcased by so many talented artists is inspirational.
Here is “Sanctuary 11″ ranking Explanation:
“You have ranked well in comparison to all students that submitted for 2017. The judges feel you have displayed some good quality work and have potential. You have displayed a good understanding of your creative field and with a little more time you will have the makings of a very impressive portfolio.”
:D :D :D
Pretty cool for a collaborative project, I think that bodes well for every single person who was part of the film. But also means that we still have a lot to learn. Which is exciting to me! I am looking forward to the next chapter with the experience and lessons learned here in Dawson 3D Animation,
It truly is a remarkable program and it was a honor to be part of it.
Thanks for following our journey. I hope you enjoyed the process.
Sanctuary 11 is officially done.
Now we move on to greener pastures and new awesome projects for everyone. Its a little sad, but everyone has their own journeys they need to discover. Which is very exciting!
Thanks for Tim Stevenson for being such a great role model and mentor for our final films , and grateful to have the such quality teachers at Dawson College. Thanks to all my classmates who we grew together the past 3 years. I wish you the best in all the things you do and your future endeavors. That also includes all the new third years, second years and first years of 2017/18. You guys rock! ofcourse! :)
3D Animation has a Bright Future!
Take care peeps and God Bless,
Kight

July of 2016, while having lunch, we met Donya Meshgin and her friend at a very popular korean restaurant, Ganadara. She told us she has a blog where she meets random people and interviews on the spot about who they are and what they do in Montreal. It was our lucky day, because she wanted to interview us, and we would like to share to you our candid answers to her questions now that we have finished our film. Enjoy!

*Update. We still have a lot of polishing to do but the film is slowly coming together. There is still some troubleshooting with edits but once all the animation is delivered, we can really tighten up the cuts and really focus on the scenes the need to be revised and pushed further in polish.
