You clutched on to your dress tightly, trying to venture through the harsh blizzard. You looked back; you must have lost him already. Hopefully. From a distance, you could see the outline of what seemed to be a gate. The hope in you rekindled, and as if you had found new strength, you ran again with determination.

But, of course, the world is never that simple.

You crash on the ground with a thud, the pain of your bloody wounds finally catching up to you. What was once a pure white dress is now soaked in red. You lay on the thick snow, lifeless and forgotten. Soon, you would be buried underneath the blizzard.
