About her

so, you all know about my bbg Kikita

and I’m gonna tell you abit more about her!!

So, I started this oc at the beginning of the year with a firm idea in mind, it was my first time joining Tumblr and a community so it made me super happy and hyped up! Thing is, I began focusing too much on interacting and making friends instead of showing what Kikita REALLY was, like I wrapped my ideas around others ocs and interactions and it became more of a doll to play with other’s dolls rather than an oc herself I wished to develop.

Here were my ideas:

I wanted her to be a symbol of racial and gender stereotypes, a “savage” girl who’s nature is romanricized by others boys on the island and objectified quickly, framed as an “animal”. I also wanted to do a post-island where, re-inserted in the civilization would be hard and lead to terrible stuff (Like SA) or like the forced “civilization” upon conquested lands..

I had many ideas like that and kinda just shut off them and was like “but I’ll do it later” because I had too much fun interacting with others. I ended up forgetting the initial message and it saddened me and bored me because what is left when there’s nothing to say? Plus many ocs began appearing, all cool but it kinda made the oc thingy mundane, less and less ask blogs and all…

But you know what? Many people still ask me about her, and even if I kinda dropped my fixation, Im gonna pick her up and finally try to achieve what I wanted to. I still have messages, anons asks I didn’t answer and overall many stuff I started and never finished. And that will NOT be Kikita.

So Lotf Fandom, beware my wild girl!!!

*She bluntly replied, and looking afar she saw a littlun wandering alone and just walked over to take care of the littlun, not even saying bye to Saoirse. Yup, social norms wasn’t her thing.*

*Kikita was being with littluns and saw the strange ginger girl from afar. Her hair was…Strange, fiery, but in a enchanting way.*

*So, she decided that a white flower would suit her fire hair. And so, she grabbed one and went to the strange irish girl, and without a word, handed it to her.*

“It may suit you, I noticed you were friends with Mary”

*Saoirse turns, shit, she knew she shouldn't have left her spot to look for Mary.

She turned slowly, thinking it would be one of the lads, her body tense and her teeth clenched.

Shock spreads on her face for a swift moment as she realised...it was a girl? Mary hadn't told her about any other girls on the island...

Then again, Saoirse didn't particularly care.*

"You're uhm, seem to not be wearing any clothes muck, any reason in particular?" *Saoirse shifts her view to her feet, her efforts in acting tough failing slightly...She glanced at the flower she held in her hands*

"This for me?" *She looked into the girls eyes, her hair was similar to hers, in the way that it seemed big and messy, Saoirse thought it was lovely.

Of course, shed never say it out loud*

*She slowly grabs the flower, her gaze still averting the girls eyes*

"How the hell do you know mary lass? She's uhm, never told me if she had any other friends?"

*Saoirse was not jealous...nuh huh*
