Little Nightmares + OMORI fight reference!

In the latest episode of my Little Nightmares fanfic, Mono is figuring out something BIG and is close to losing his sanity

Then I came up with this idea to make them fight in the OMORI fight style. I think it will be a lot of fun, and it turns out that it is! I'm really enjoying creating this, LOL

Everything Revealed at the LN Showcase:

LN3 and LN Enhanced Edition are releasing on October 10th 2025.

You can play LN Enhanced right now if you do a digital pre-order of LN3.

LN3's main theme OST has been revealed.

The Dummy from TSON has his own dummy child minions that serve as the carnival's workers. So @randybutternubber's headcanon about the Dummy having his own bully children is canon now.

Dummy also has a doggy door leading into one of the Carnival's trailers. Make of that what you will.

The Carnival-goers are basically medieval torture enthusiasts that are only motivated by hitting things and food.

Otto's office from TSON is revealed along with a bit of the Counties, which may or may not be a spoiler for LN3 since it's already implied that Otto is Mirror Man.

TSON Season 2 is in early stages of development.

Descent to Nowhere is actually a prequel story about Mono and Tape Girl (officially named Hush) escaping from what is presumably the Stone Giant seen in TSON. The Detective is named Myra and is working with a candy-wielding stranger who is likely NOT Otto since he has an American accent. She also apparently met the Ferryman at one point.

DTN has 4 issues, starting in October and releasing monthly until January 2026. Preorders open in August through Titan Comic's website.

The "Young adult horror novel" aka The Lonely Ones has officially been announced and is releasing in September 2025. It follows a young girl named Ruse who is trapped in the Carnival with two kids wearing a mask and noose respectively (the leak mentioned one kid wearing rope instead of a noose btw so that was changed). The kids may or may not also be secretly working with MIPS/Dummy.

THE STOP-MOTION TV SHOW/MOVIE HAS BEEN TEASED. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. In it we see what looks the Counties being built, as well as a young girl named Emy getting a replica house from someone named Hym that seems to come to life. So yeah, this is definitely Henry Selick doing his Coraline thing.

Dummy and MIPS designs have been partially revealed.

Low and Alone straight up drown someone in the Carnival.

The Carnival has a whole rollercoaster cutscene.

Different version of LN3 you can buy have different costumes from other LN projects, including the Chefs, Hunter, Janitor, Lady, Dark Six, and the Ferryman.

LN3 also has planned DLC called Secrets of the Spiral, which includes two additional chapters available through pre-order.

There is also an LN3 Mirror Edition and Spiral Edition, which both include your typical special-edition stuff like the Artbook, OST, figures etc.

There is now an LN VR GAME in development called Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes, of which we only know it features the Signal Tower and Six's music box (So long as it's not being made by Steel Wool we're good).

The Necropolis Demo still has not been released, which as someone who played it myself still kind of pisses me off 😠

More info on all these projects will come from Bandai over the next several months.

so i have thoughts on the timeline of DTN. and character implications.

we know that prior to the events of ln2, mono was already familiar with pale city. there’s a lot of evidence and in game details that prove this, but the most efficient one is his official character bio, “As the world buckled under the relentless pulse of the signal tower, mono takes refuge where he can.”

in episode 6 of the ln2 comics we also see him in pale city. the world “buckling” under the signal tower causes him to flee, which is why we next find him in the wilderness. his initial pale city visit is where i think DTN takes place- here’s why.

it seems my analysis on mono not being a kindhearted hero out to save the other kids of the nowhere was right, he is ��hesitant” to work with hush, with them having a shared goal.

mono has clearly survived in the nowhere for a long time, which requires a significant level of self preservation. it makes sense he would struggle to work with someone else. in the trailer, we can see hush getting pulled into a television by a (difficult to make out) shadow figure—before mono jumps on it and crushes it’s screen. at some point in the comic, they are going to pale city.

my prediction is that hush meets a tragic fate, and mono flees pale city. this gives him the incentive to save six that we see in the wilderness. a kid got caught and it was partially his fault, but with a new perspective on working with someone else- he decides to take that chance again.

it’s worth noting that this decision might not be immediate either. mono notices six in the wilderness, but takes no immediate action to help her via distracting the hunter- and while the tally marks in the hunter’s basement could’ve been left by other kids, they could also be her counting the days.

beyond (just) trust issues, i think this is could be why six is initially fearful and distrusting of mono. he distracted her and did not initially come to help. togetherness 2 is when mono redeems the situation by going out of his way to go back to save her. her animation indicates that she’s surprised by this choice.

six wasn’t the only one taking a risk by trusting another child in the nowhere, mono was too.

Little Nightmares Descent to Nowhere (Quick Doodle)

My first Little Nightmares Descent to Nowhere art! I'm so excited to see more lore about Nowhere! I can't hold the excitement 🤧

I'm also glad we can finally learn more about Mono. I always knew he would return someday because I believe he has an important role in Little Nightmares, alongside Six

About "Descent to Nowhere": It looks VERY promising, especially since we get to see an adult entering Nowhere. I'm really curious about how the story will unfold. I assume this comic takes place before LN II. Sometimes, I wonder how the parents react when their children mysteriously go missing. I have a headcanon about this, but I’ll save it for later. Just to share a bit of my headcanon, I think both Mono and Tape Girl (Hush) come from wealthy families, judging by their clothes and the missing person ad on the milk carton (don't take it seriously, it's just my opinion)

The other contents are interesting too! AND LN III IS IN OCTOBER!! I'm so excited about everything they make in the following years! It's worth the wait, to be honest. I guess I should consider getting an extra job to buy all of them, hahaha! nervous laugh

On Valentine's Day in 2013, I confessed my feelings to him (my boyfriend) intentionally, believing it would be romantic to celebrate our anniversary every year on this date (although we're officially dating on February 15th, it's still close)
