Modern!Velaryon Boys Hcs (Jace, Luke, and Joffrey)

These are very heavily based on my brothers and also the only thing I could think of when writing Joffrey specifically is Manny from Diary of a Whimpy Kid so. Dragon Twins are probably next <333

Jace is definitely the shortest when they’re adults (Luke is the tallest though) Jace never hears the end of it 

I know Joff blamed Luke and Jace for EVERYTHING (Like if he broke something he’d cry and say one of his brothers did it and hes like a toddler and cute so Rhaenyra would believe him) 

Jace and Luke had bunk beds by choice before Joffrey was born (They liked sharing a room. Luke got top bunk, Jace was on the bottom) 

Jace could never have friends or dates over when he was a teenager cause Luke made it his goal to embarrass him 

Luke and Joffery never listened to Jace when he got put in charge 

They all went through the same teachers in school; Jace was like the perfect student, Luke was like a mediocre student, and Joffery was a menace (When the teachers heard about Aegon III, Viserys, and Visenya they were terrified) 

Luke has a scar from getting bit by Joffery (He got in trouble for letting Joffrey bite him) 

Anytime Jace gets into a fight in school, Luke jumps in and they both end up in the nurses office. 

They always bragged at school when they were younger about having two dads (I like Rhaenyra and Laenor in the modern world have a lavender marriage and Harwin lives and is very present in the boy’s lives) 

Luke has definitely put dye in Jace’s shampoo before (it was catastrophic) 

Joffs is Laenor’s favorite, Jace is Harwin’s and Luke is Rhaenyra’s 

Luke was a fortnite kid (sorry)

I know a lot of fights at family gatherings are started because Luke is a little shit (An agent of chaos, I think him and Aegon are besties in that way) 

Jace has definitely been blackmailed by Luke for sneaking out to see Cregan or Baela (Or both) 

Even as adults, Jace and Luke will claim to be each other’s best friends (I refuse to believe Jace’s anxious ass let them grow apart) 

On snow days, when they still shared a room, Jace and Luke played split screen COD for hours living off soda and chips 

They’re all really good swimmers and learned how to sail from very young ages (Rhaenyra would send them to their grandparents for weeks in the summer) 

Luke does not like Cregan (its a very funny one sided feud) 

I definitely believe that a teenage Joffrey was a troublemaker (By the time hes a teenager he’s like the oldest in the house and he’s going through a rebellious phase. Light vandalism, forging moms signature for stuff, manipulating adults with his cuteness for stuff, light shoplifting) 

“I think I might like guys” “Fork in the kitchen dude” (I fear it’s always been incredibly obvious to Luke that Jace wasn’t always straight when they were teenagers) 

Luke only responds to bad news in the family group chat with memes

Luke is also definitely more technology inclined so all the adults ask him for help (I think older look went into computer science or tech development of some sort. Idk that screams him to me) 

Jace definitely had the most sports injuries growing up (Luke has a dozen hundred awkward goofy photos of Jace in the hospital that he will show people)

I think when they got their own rooms, Jace and Luke got walkie talkies to talk after bedtime (They stopped using them all the time when they were older but never threw them away)
