R.I.P Gary Stephen Webb. I Thank You. I’m so sorry for his children (2nd to last gif, In 2004…).  He will forever be a hero in my book.

#35 Kill The Messenger

4 out of 5 stars

This is a true story about Gary Webb (Jeremy Renner) who was a Journalist for the Mercury newspaper in California. He has his life turned upside down when the story of the century just falls right in his lap. 

Great story and a really good performance by Renner, but the movie suffered a bit with a sluggish pace. If you have HBO go it’s worth a watch for sure. If you don’t just google Gary Webb and read the fascinating story this movie is based on.
