WOW!! Song of the River has just been featured on @julieslibraryshow. It was amazing to hear Julie Andrews and her daughter Emma Walton Hamilton read the book. I LOVED watching The Sound of Music with my Nana as a child and now my baby daughter’s first word was ‘doe’ from Do-re-mi - so it’s safe to say I’m star struck right now!! Today is a celebration of New Zealand children’s books and I have been asked to post a photo of my most beloved NZ children’s book - which is the classic ‘My Cat Likes to Hide in Boxes’ by Eve Sutton and Lynley Dodd.
