I loved all the Burzek we got but I am worried about what’s going to happen in future episodes. Marina’s interview saying someone else should come along to make them realize what they’re missing doesn’t bother me as much as her saying that they have is going to crumble their relationship as they know it. She said “There are going to be tests with the adoption coming up, so far they have been building and I think something might crumble pretty soon” Like what?! It really stinks that they finally got to a good place for it to just crumble! I’m so disappointed with what’s going to happen. They’ve been through so much and I’m tired of the writers screwing the Burzek fandom again and again! I’m not even looking forward to future episodes at this point. I feel like I should just end it like this with them happy and a family and having a home together.

honestly, i totally forgot about marina’s comment but i agree with you anon. i totally understand your frustration.

i definitely don’t want anything to happen to makayla. but i can see them having trouble but ultimately keeping makayla. just some bumps in the road. maybe intertwining with kim’s ptsd. honestly hope it’s not because of kim being a single mother because that would be lame imo. but i think it would’ve been cruel and not beneficial for the writers to build this relationship up just to tear it down in one episode. i would hope that even if there were trouble, it would resolve itself. because makayla and kim and adam could have SO MANY potential story lines in the future. and i hope the writers would see that. but then again, we all saw what happened to fire…

maybe i’m being too optimistic but i do believe that burzek is endgame and whenever the show ends, they will be together, hopefully still with makayla. better still be with makayla. but i’m just saying that even if something bad is to happen on the horizon, it won’t be the final ending. i hope.

again, i can’t remember the interview. also, this season has been far from predictable at least from my speculations, so i can’t really judge at this point 😅

the ending was perfect. haven’t seen soft kim in a while if ever, and the way she calmed adam down with one touch 😭😭😭

this episode was great, it reminded me of old chicago pd. i will say it was kind of weird to put this episode in between the whole jay/voight/hailey situation but i understand that the writers like to circulate the feature.

but burzek is totally together. even if they’re not together together. they are. like even if they aren’t admitting it, they’re acting like a couple, a married couple. and more importantly, they’re both showing up for makayla, which just is the icing on the cake. 🥰

this episode gave the best burzek content and plot line in 40 minutes.

we saw tension, resolution, and appreciation. my burzek heart.
