So I FINALLY finished the online pre-orientation for TaLK....I know some people who finished this in a day....I think it took me 2.5 weeks.
It was a pain for me... It was basically just a short summary of my last university semester. Then it had some small sections for Korean language...basically the first week of my Sogang language program.
This pre-orientation took me so long to get through because I was too bored/lazy to do it haha. I’m a little worried about the actual 1 month orientation now. I just hope most of it will be new for me or at least a different view. I know this will be extremely valuable for me regardless. I just hope at least 70% of it is new for me. From what I have heard about orientation...it’s busy. Long hours in lectures/practicums and little time for rest
Got my new bank acount today! My old bank doesn't wire transfer to Korea so I had to switch banks ....sad to leave but if you and providing... bye felisha

I'll be staying in Korea for 2-5 then on to the next country

Jeonbuk 전라북도 Still unsure about how I feel about this...I read up on it and it looks like it is a very traditional city which is good... and its the food hub...also good until I saw how much seafood they use....Im very allergic so now im worried..... But take what you get I guess. Time to search more about the area and past scholars there. Next Visa
Gifts for your new school staff aren’t required, but they are welcomed. Gifts can go a long way. I’ve heard that it’s a nice gesture to present the gifts after your first paycheck.
I’d be great to bring a souvenir from your home country for the principal and vice principal. For the staff,...
