u have dream of tetra tell u to save her, wake up in beach with fairy circling ur head, fairy is ciela, u go to her grandpa to ask about ghost ship

grandpa say ship full of evil and those taken are never seen, but u determined, he tell u to go with sailor so he tell u about ghost ship, fairy goes with u

get a sword in the store house, robbery? grandpa teach u how to use sword and attack

oh u can draw in ur map, useful

get to port, find ship but no captain, u find he went to temple of ocean king, the protector of the oceans, but there is curse there that said to suck souls of people who go to temple

u of course, go to temple, some ghosts tell u of monsters inside, find captain of ship when u enter, he ask for help to get out of trap, u free him and ask for help to go to ghost ship

captain seem to want treasure in ship, and was also looking for info about it as u only want to rescue friend then he decide to help u, tho he send u deeper in temple that sucks life to find clue

u find map, show it to captain but he take it and goes to ship, u follow, u reach ship, old grandpa there, it seem grandpa sent captain to temple and captain ignored warning, u solve puzzle in map and know where to go

u go outside of ship and see bellum and ghost ship, bellum posses ghost ship with tetra unconscious, u chase and destroy eyes with cannon, destroy ship and get in

see tetra but bellum appear again, he hit wood and it drops on ur ship, then bellum captures link and sword falls, captain attack bellum even if he trembling

u wake up and see tetra in floating destroyed ship and captain fighting, bellum attack captain and attach to him, captain throw sword to u before that

bellum posses captain, u gotta attack back to free him, defeat bellum and he transform into sand, u se tetra is fine, captain free from possession and fine too

then sand get into sea and whale jumps, thats grandpa, captain wish is that he gets his ship back

whale and spirits say u will return to ur world, or is it they that had to go? idk, confusing ending, oh wait, yup u got back to ur world in the ghost ship, turns out u only were 10 min there, but then ghost ship disappear, tho link still have a hourglass without sand and in distance he see captain ship

“Nya, nya, nyaa!” the sing-song sounds of a cat getting closer brought Valerie’s attention.

She had been waiting for Phantom to appear so they could decide on which part they would each patrol tonight. The Red Huntress was sitting in her hoverboard when she heard the cat and turned to see him.

“Danny?” the sight of the cat was strange to tell the truth.

“Meow!” Danny nodded and posed like a cat proud of his strength.

The cat of today was huge but not gigantic. It looked like one of those huge cats that happened naturally, but the obvious part that it was not a normal cat was that the fur was a bright blue. Though that wasn't all, the cat was wearing a red cape and a collar with an easily recognizable ‘S’ symbol on it.

“Danny, are you a superman cat?” Valerie smiled amused. Who knew Danny could imitate comic superheroes.

“Nya!” Danny nodded in excitement. This form was so cool, he was a superhero!

“Well then supercat, what part of town do you want?” Valerie let him pick first. Seeing something so ridiculous actually made her day better.

“Nya, meow” Danny pointed to the north and east sides of the city.

“Sure. Don’t get caught by ghost hunters” Valerie nodded.

“Nya!” Danny seemed to be laughing.

Then, the supercat faced the north and flew like Superman in the comics. Though the fact that he left a sonic boom behind was not amusing to the Red Huntress.

Hot Dogs (AO3)

The fridge of the Fenton kitchen shook ominously. The sound of many small creatures could be heard inside it before another tremor shook the application. At least there were chains and duct tape holding it close.

“So… are mom and dad going to fix that?” Jazz asked while looking worriedly at the fridge.

“They are in the lab trying to find a solution” Danny shrugged and returned to eat his dry cereal.

“It's been three days” Jazz pointed out.

“Yup” Danny nodded.

“What was it this time?” Jazz asked. She had been busy with schoolwork so she hadn’t seen what had revived this time.

“The hot dogs” Danny grumbled. He had been looking forward to eating them all day three days ago, but his parents forgot to store the ectoplasmic sample in the lab’s fridge. So now, all the food was animated and revolting.

“Didn't we have whinnies as pets before?” Jazz remembered her dad making a peace treaty with the whinnies not so long ago.

“The hot dogs faction won them out and they broke the treaty” Danny said. It was interesting how he remembered the political changes of the food more than the ones in history class.

“Ah, that would explain it” Jazz nodded. The whinnies were easy to convince of anything.

The redhead was about to get herself a serving of cereal when the fridge shook stronger than last time and the chains fell from it. Feeling that something was not right, Danny turned to Jazz and signaled for her to close the lab door. Jazz nodded and did as asked, after all, it would be bad if their parents saw a ghost cat in the kitchen.

When Danny transformed, Jazz only had a few seconds to see the new form before the door of the fridge opened violently.

As the animated food came out to conquer the kitchen, they were confronted with the scariest sight of their short lives. Instead of the humans, in the kitchen there was a feline. A very peculiar feline as it was green, had the tail rolled up and was the size of the fridge they just left.

The cat grinned before it opened its mouth and a long tongue shot from it. It stuck to two hot dogs at the same time and quickly returned to the mouth filled with sharp teeth. The hot dogs were devoured in an instant but that did not stop the animated food to charge at the feline. They were here to conquer no matter what.

Jazz looked at the food massacre in awe. Danny had transformed into a giant chameleon cat and quickly devoured everything that moved. Once he finished, Danny returned to his human form and immediately curled over his stomach.

“Ugh…” the half ghost groaned.

“Danny! Are you ok?” Jazz asked with clear worry. She hadn’t seen any of the animated food hurt him, so seeing him in pain activated her sisterly worry.

“Yea, just ate too much” Danny felt incredibly full. Who knew that eating twenty hot dogs in less than ten minutes would cause stomach ache.

“I see” Jazz smiled amused, “go lay down and try not to throw up, alright?”

“Yea, yea” Danny nodded and made his way to the couch. He didn't feel like going up the stairs.

Ghost Biology (AO3)

Ever since Danny became a half ghost, there had been some changes that he and his friends noticed. Of course, they did not happen all over night but were a gradual change. Some changes were subtle, like his body temperature being lower than an average human, though not low enough to be a problem. Some of his senses got better, like his sight, hearing and smell, though his sense of touch was the same.

other changes were less subtle, like his eyes shining like that of a cat when the light hit them at night, the fangs that grew after a few months of the accident, and his new ability to purr. that one was hard to hide as Danny would purr like cats when either happy or stressed, and lets just say that school is not a relaxing place to be.

And lastly, his diet.

“I'm hungry…” Danny grumbled while resting face down on Sam’s bed.

“Human hungry or ghost hungry?” Tucker asked”

“Uh… ghost?” Danny was not sure, his stomach was never specific with that.

“Yup, ghost. You just ate an entire pizza by yourself Danny” Sam pointed out.

“Worthy” Danny smiled. That pizza was so good.

“Yes, yes. Either way, I can't help you with the ghost hunger” Sam shrugged. She didn't have any ectoplasm in her house. She was sure that her parents might actually disown her if she did.

“Yea, I know” Danny would have smelled it already if she did.

“So, what, are you going to go out and hunt a ghost to eat?” Tucker asked.

“Ugh eww! No Tuck!” Danny shook his head in disgust. He might be hungry but not even when he let the cat instincts guide him, he would have thought of eating another ghost. Cannibalism was not a thing for ghosts it seemed.

“Welp, unless you want to eat the ecto-batteries of our thermos, then I got nothing” Tucker said.

“No, they don't smell good” Danny frowned. Weirdly enough, even if they were technically ectoplasm, the batteries smelled like cleaning chemicals. Not yummy at all.

“Haa… don't worry about it. I'll take a bite and come back alright?” Danny said as he stood up from the bed.

“Sure dude” Tucker gave him a thumbs up.

“Don't take too long. We’ll start a ‘Dead Teacher’ marathon soon” Sam reminded him.

“Yes!” Danny was excited for the movie night they had planned.

Danny changed into his ghost form and an angelic looking cat was left in his place. The white glow of his fur radiated a peaceful warmth, the aura of protection made his friends relax, and the pure white wings flapped behind him.

“Nya!” Danny’s melodic voice echoed in the room while he waved and flew away.

The half ghost only had to spend a few minutes relaxing in the Ghost Zone to absorb all the ectoplasm he needed for a week. It was lucky that his ghost biology did not require too much food.

Favourite AU - Ancient of Space (AO3)

“Wait, what do you mean by that? I'm not that old” Danny was confused and looked at Clockwork with inquiring eyes.

“It's not about being old, it's about power and Ancients did not start as powerful as the legends say” Clockwork explained.

“Yes, I know legends tend to exaggerate some things. But, why am I becoming an Ancient? And of space?” Danny asked while taking another cookie.

“it's mostly because you are a halfa that your power will grow until you become one of us. No matter what random form you might take, the power will be there” Clockwork said before biting into a pink cookie.

“Hmm…” Danny felt uncomfortable and needed some time to think it over.

Danny was in Clockwork’s lair in his weekly visits to learn everything he could about the infinite realms, ghost culture, or have some time to do his homework in peace. The good thing was that he got to eat the best cookies that would ever exist. Though sometimes the time ghost would throw him some shocking information like the fact that he would become the Ancient of Space apparently.

“What does it mean exactly? Being the Ancient I mean” Danny asked.

“Well, you would have absolute control over space. Meaning that you could create it, destroy it, open portals between different kinds of spaces, or dimensions as people are calling it, and other things that I'm sure you will have fun discovering them” Clockwork smirked. He was not going to spoil the surprise. He will enjoy seeing the face Danny will make when it happens.

“That doesn't sound too bad” Danny said, looking more relaxed.

“No, it does not” Clockwork let it at that. 

Later, he will warn his friend about the shady deals other entities like the Observants or demons will try to make with him and how to get out of doing them. The Ancient of Time had only decided to work with the Observants because, even if their goals were aligned in some way, he could destroy them if the need arises.

“Well, I think I need another opinion about this” Danny was going to tell Jazz, Sam and Tucker about the news and hear their thoughts.

“Good luck, young Phantom” Clockwork waved at Danny and the human transformed into his ghost cat form.

Just a second before the transformation ended, Clockwork saw the next form and teleported Danny outside of his lair. That cat was too big to not destroy important things by accident.

Danny opened his eyes after the transformation and looked around, confused at where he was. That was until he saw the small clock tower in front of him. It seemed that his form today was that of a truly gigantic cat. One made of black shadows, but with little lights resembling stars and nebulae decorating his fur.

Danny snorted at that. It seemed that even his luck wanted to show him a form that could be called the Ancient of Space. Shaking his head, Danny flew away towards his portal. He will have to change back just before entering as he was too big to pass through the entrance.

Dream (AO3)

Danny was running after a ghost. He had felt his ghost sense activate and saw a green shape flying to hide in an alleyway. Danny followed it to catch it and prevent it from destroying his city.

When he reached the alleyway Danny found the ghost. It was a mixture of every cat that did and did not exist. It changed all the time and no cat was there long enough to recognize it. It was weird to look at it but that was not going to stop Danny.

“I don't know what kind of ghost you are, but I'm going to stop you” Danny said before shouting, “Going ghost!”

The rings of light appeared and when they passed Danny’s hair had changed to white, his eyes to green, and his clothes became a black jumpsuit with white gloves, boots and belt. He had changed into Danny Phantom, the protector of Amity Park.

Danny charged an ecto-blast in his hand and flew towards the strange ghost. The ghost was fast and dodged all his attacks. It didn't matter what he did, Danny could not touch it. There was only one option left. Breathing in air and preparing to wail, Danny got in position.

But before he could unleash his ultimate weapon, the cat ghost tackled him.

“Ack!”

Danny opened his eyes and looked around. He had fallen from his bed while sleeping.

“Danny! Time to get up or you are going to be late for school!” Maddie called from the kitchen.

“Coming mom!” Danny responded so she wouldn't think he was still asleep. He didn’t want her to enter his bedroom.

Getting up from the floor, Danny stretched and went to get his clothes. He shook his head from the weird dream and started to get ready for school.

Horror (AO3)

He has to hide. He has to hide! HE HAS TO HIDE!

Technus was scared. He didn't imagine that coming to the living world today to try another plan for world domination would make him face such horror.

The ghost had everything ready to face the guardian cat of the day. He knew Phantom used varied forms but he didn't expect the thing that appeared and crushed his technological armor so easily.

The sight of that cat was so terrifying that Technus decided to run away and hide. He was too scared to face against that specific cat.

The technological ghost found a dark corner in an unused warehouse and hid inside an old computer, praying that the cat wouldn't find him.

“Meeeoooowww” but his prayers were unanswered as the cat found him in no time.

Technus used the computer camera to peek at his surroundings and there he saw it. The black mass of fur creeping on the entrance, the shadows dripping from the cat as if it was blood, and then he saw the face or what could pass as one. The cat did not have a face. It was just a conglomeration of fangs ready to tear apart everything in front of it, like Technus’ armor.

Then the cat made the most horrifying sound.

“Hiiiiyyyiiiissssss” the fangs on its face shook and clashed against each other, making a sound resembling a rattlesnake. The high pitched hiss did not help to subdue the horror of hearing that sound.

“Aaaaahhhh!” Technus did not scream like a girl. No matter what Phantom says, he didn't.

The ghost tried to fly away but a blue beam stopped him and sucked him into the ghost container. Once inside Technus sighed in relief. Inside of the thermos he was safe from the horrifying cat.

Robot (AO3)

Danny crouched in preparation and wiggled his butt to gain momentum. His prey was on sight and was not looking at him. Danny was glad that his form was semi transparent with blue undertones so he could camouflage more easily. He was like a jellyfish cat without the poison tentacles.

His prey had been teasing him for a whole hour but now he had his chance. It was distracted and facing away from him. It was the perfect chance to get his revenge on the teasing.

He stilled for a moment, and then jumped towards his prey. This time he would catch it! But just as he was about to reach it, his prey moved away! Danny didn't think and chased after it. It was not going to escape him this time!

“Ha ha ha!” Tucker laughed at the sight in front of him.

“Do you think he will notice it's a robot mouse?” Sam was really amused.

“He hadn't in the past hour. I doubt he will” Tucker smirked and, using the controller in his hand, made the mouse move away from Danny once more.

Sam and Tucker kept on having fun making Danny run in circles chasing a toy. They only stopped when Danny collapsed in exhaustion.

Necromancy (AO3)

It was like a natural disaster. The swarm of ghostly piranhas were devastating everything in their path and the only place safe was behind the ghost shields on the school, government buildings, Fentonworks’ main building and any private property with one installed.

The fact that there were buildings in which they couldn't enter didn't seem to matter to the piranhas. They just kept on munching the abandoned cars, the light poles, any walls of the buildings, the street and communication antennas. Interesting enough, they seemed to ignore anything alive as trees, animals, and people were completely ignored and left alone. That didn't mean that people were not worried. After all, they could all lose their homes if this wasn't handled.

“This doesn't look good man” Tucker said while staring outside the window.

“I know, but we have no idea if the next form will be useful at all” Danny grumbled. That was a major disadvantage of his powers.

“You won't know until you try Danny” Sam was trying to encourage her friend.

The three friends were in Danny’s house and had been observing how the swarm ate anything they found. Danny was hoping that his parents would have an invention to stop those fish ghosts, but every time they went out to fight, the piranhas ate the weapons and left the Fenton parents alone.

“Ugh, alright” Danny was annoyed at those fishes. Mostly because they ate their access to the internet and interrupted their gaming marathon.

Danny sneakily went out of his house to not be trapped inside the shield and transformed. When the light disappeared, there was a bone white cat with an adorable cloak and hood in Danny’s place.

The halfa looked at himself in curiosity. He didn't know what this form could do, though he liked the cloak. It was warm and cozy.

“Hey dude, whatever you are about to do, you better do it now” Tucker called out from his window and pointed at the swarm.

Danny followed where Tucker’s finger pointed and saw the swarm coming directly at him. He didn't know if it was because of his transformation or because the building next door had been untouched for too long, but the ghost piranhas seemed focused on flying as fast as they could towards Danny.

The cat jumped and Danny, following the instincts of randomness, hit the floor as hard as he could with his four paws. Surprisingly, the floor under him broke. And not just that. The cracks expanded and in a blink of an eye, most of the street had cracks of various sizes.

But the surprise didn't end there. Soon, skeletons started to come out of the cracks. The skeletons were varied as some resembled humans, dogs, cats, birds, but most of them were dinosaur bones.

“Hey necromancer cat. Stop looking at your minions and do something” Sam snapped Danny out of his staring and made him focus on the imminent threat.

“Meow!” Danny nodded at Sam and faced the swarm of piranhas.

“Nya! Meooow! Mrrow, nya hisss!” Danny commanded his troops in cat language. no one but him and his minions understood the orders.

Soon enough, the skeletons moved and went to fight against the swarm. Danny jumped on the head of a skeleton T-rex and charged as well. Those fish ghosts would not be able to do anything against his army!

Camping (AO3)

“Alright kids, who is ready for some ghost hunting?!” Jack Fenton looked incredibly excited at Danny and his three friends.

“Dad, we are for camping not ghost hunting” Danny said.

“I didn't bring my ghost vibes Mr. Fenton” Tucker added.

“I only came to admire nature” Sam deadpanned.

“Well, this is a ghost hunting camp so we can do camping activities and hunt ghosts at the same time!” Jack grinned widely. He had more than enough enthusiasm for all of them.

“Sure thing, Mr. Fenton! Tucker smiled, playing along so Jack wouldn't get any new ideas.

Danny, Sam, and Tucker had agreed to come to this camping trip mostly to get a break from school work and ghost fights. Leaving Valerie in charge of protecting the city was a reasonable idea at the time, though the ghosts will have a lot of complaints about that.

Sam and Tucker also were not going to abandon their friend for a whole weekend with his dad alone. The huge man could get too over excited with ghost hunting equipment.

“Alright then, let's start with a good old forest exploration!” Jack exclaimed while holding two Fenton Finders.

“Now, I only have two of these as Maddie didn't want to repair the other one. Something about the new ecto-gun she was making” Jack frowned, not really remembering what she had said.

“Well, we can take one and you, as the expert ghost hunter, can take the other” Tucker suggested.

“You know what, that's a great idea!” Jack grinned widely, “let's go ghost hunting!”

So that's how they found themselves in the middle of a forest with a scanner that told them Danny was less than a meter from them every minute. It’s a good thing Tucker knew how to mute the device.

“Why are we looking for ghosts in this forest anyway?” Danny asked. He only saw trees and more trees.

“I don't know about ghosts but I have heard stories of strange deer wandering these forests” Sam said.

“You mean like the ‘not a deer’ thing?” Tucker had heard about those only because he stumbled over an online thread.

“Yup” the goth nodded.

“If it's not a deer then, what is it?” Danny asked. He had not heard of the legend as he was too busy with ghost hunting and trying to not fail school.

“That's the thing, no one knows and many think it's better to not know” Sam said.

“Huh” Danny didn't know how to respond to that.

“But if there are ‘not a deer’ here, then wouldn't it be better if Danny transforms?” Tucker looked nervous. He didn't want to face whatever was trying to look like a deer.

“That's not a bad idea” Sam nodded. It was better to stay on guard.

“Alright, alright” Danny sighed before transforming. If his friends felt better with him ready to ward off anything paranatural, then who was he to Danny them.

Danny’s cat form of the day was an interesting one. He was very tall, as tall as a human teenager, his skin and body were made of wood, though his features were carved and he had brilliant colors on some parts. He looked like some kind of totem cat. He wasn't sure if his form was culturally correct, but the randomness of his forms didn't seem to care.

“You are tall dude” Tucker said while poking at him. Strangely, Danny’s body made a hollow sound.

“Can you sense anything?” Sam asked. Danny might have some kind of hidden power this time too.

Danny looked around but everything seemed normal. His ghost sense was inactive, the forest smelled alright, and he could hear animals making all types of sounds. He already knew to be wary if the forest was truly silent, so there was nothing to worry about.

“Meow” Danny shook his head in denial and sat down.

“Ah good” Tucker breathed in relief.

“Well, we could go back and start putting up the tents” Sam suggested. She didn’t want to work without natural light.

“Only if you help us” Tucker was not good at that. Camping was not something he would usually do.

“Alri-” Sam’s agreement was interrupted by the sound of loud footsteps followed by a strong shout.

“GHOST!!” Jack came out of the forest bushes with his ecto-gun ready.

Danny had gone very still and didn't dare to move. Getting shot by that gun could probably set him on fire. A wooden body was not good in this situation.

“There is no ghost here Mr. Fenton. Just this weird totem we found” Sam said. Hoping that Danny wouldn’t move.

“Oh, alright. Hey where's Dan-no?” Jack asked while looking around.

“He is watering the bushes. He will be back shortly” Tucker said.

“Welp, see you kids in the camp!” Jack exclaimed and ran back. There were a lot of fun activities he wanted to do.

“That was close” Sam said once they were sure Jack was too far away to hear them.

“Yup” Tucker nodded.

“Meow” Danny was glad that his dad didn’t see the Fenton Finder when he was in front of them.

Danny transformed back so the scanner wont detect him so easily.

“Let’s go back before he sets up the ghost shield. It always gives me headaches” Danny grumbled. 

With that the three friends went back to the camping site.

Moon Landing (AO3)

This was an unusual form for Danny. He was a normal looking tom cat with a very accurate astronaut outfit, well accurate for cats that is. Getting a form that comes with clothes was the unusual part as cats didn't need clothes at all.

After defeating Technus in his attempt to utilize the TVs to spread his own annoying propaganda of world domination, Danny felt a strange urge. An urge to fly up, up, and up. To reach the skies and fly beyond them. To stare at the stars while walking on a grey dessert in which no one ever walked before.

“Nya!” Danny waved at his friends before following this weird but wonderful urge. After all, he did want to reach space.

Danny didn't wait for his friends’ response before flying upwards. Unexpectedly, Danny flew faster than he had ever flown before. The astronaut suit protected him from the wind and the excitement of going to space made him purr strongly.

Soon, Danny left the Earth's atmosphere and had a magnificent view of the stars. But that did not make him stop. Danny had a goal and he was going to reach it.

The moon.

The normal looking cat had his eyes set to the celestial body and sped up to reach it as fast as possible. He didn't know how long he could maintain this form so he had to hurry. It would be extremely bad if he were to change back to human in the void of space.

After what felt like hours but will turn out to be minutes, Danny finally made it. He was on the moon!

The astronaut cat realized ‘Moon Landing' on the dark side of the moon. It was cold and dark, but the view of the stars was wonderful. Danny walked around the unexplored desert, leaving behind little footprints with paw prints on the soles.

The half ghost enjoyed his time on the moon for a few hours until he felt the need to return. The urge to be on the moon lessened and now it was time to go home and tell Sam and Tucker his adventure.

Tremors (AO3)

Of all things that had to come out of the portal it had to be a worm. But it was not a small and harmless little invertebrate. No! It had to be a giant tunneler worm that started to create its own underground passages as soon as it touched dirt. The fact that it could go intangible was not something the worm knew, it wasn't smart enough to.

So every time the giant worm passed under their feet, tremors could be felt. They tended to knock things out from their places but nothing that wasn't fragile broke. Sometimes the worm surfaced to take a look at its surroundings before going back to work.

That was something Danny took advantage of. So after an hour of tormenting the city with tremors, the worm was attacked when it surfaced. Danny had transformed into a two headed grey cat with three tails. Size wise, the cat was as big as a car, but comparing it to the train sized worm, he looked small.

But that didn't matter to Danny, as soon as he saw the worm emerge, the big cat jumped on its head and started to fight. The worm tried to dislodge the cat from its face, but it didn't matter in what way or how much it moved, the cat had latched firmly with his claws and he was not going to let go.

Scared of the small thing causing pain, the worm decided to do what it knew best. Dig a tunnel. Danny had to go intangible to not be squashed against the earth. Though he only moved to a place were he would be safe before continuing to attack, making the worm do erratic tunnels that collapsed behind it.

After 20 minutes, the worm got tired and surfaced a last time. Danny let go and jumped over it to keep it in place while he waited for his friends to come with the thermos.

So there Danny was, purring victorious over a train sized ghost and ignoring the building falling behind him. A perfect way to end such an epic fight.

Pact (AO3)

Pacts and deals were the closest approximation to sacred things for ghosts. After all, with no need of worldly stuff, one's own word had the same value as money. Pacts could be as ancient as time itself, as long lasting as the consciousness that created them, or as brief as lighting.

No matter the length of the contents, if one makes a pact, they have to fulfill it to the best of their abilities. Even so, there are some ghosts that will try to scam others in some way or another so that's why one has to be careful with who they make a deal with.

Knowing the reputation of the halfa, Johnny was sure that their pact would go well no matter what.

“Awww aren't you the cutest thing ever?” Kitty cooed over the five legged kitten with iridescent black fur.

Of course, the fact that they had a pact did not help with his jealousy.

“Do you have to hug him like that?” Johnny frowned at the sight of his girlfriend hugging another man even if he was in another form.

“Oh come on, babe. The little guy is too cute!” Kitty said as she hugged Danny tighter to her chest.

“Tsk” the ghost did not look happy and the laughing shadow didn't help his humor at all.

And the worst part was that he couldn't do anything about it as it had been his idea in the first place. He had wanted Kitty to be happy and give her something cute so she wouldn't be too angry at him after forgetting their anniversary. Again. 

So, in one of his usual races with Phantom, Johnny proposed a pact, one in which Danny would let himself be adored by Kitty when he got a cute kitten form, and in exchange he would limit their races to the weekends. Though with the condition that he wouldn't try to conquer his girl of course.

Danny had accepted the deal as the races took a long while to finish and he needed all the time he could get to do his homework. Though, when Danny finally appeared in the form of a cute kitten, Johnny had not expected to be jealous of something so small.

“Awww! Babe you look so grumpy. Here, pet the cutie. It'll make you feel better” Kitty smirked and put Danny on Johnny’s lap.

“Meow?” Danny was confused and tense. This was not part of the deal!

“… whatever” Johnny rolled his eyes but petted the kitten in his lap. He couldn't really refuse her and her antics.

Danny stood still and waited for Johnny to get bored of petting him. The louder laughs of the shadow didn't help with the awkwardness.

Enemy (AO3)

People say that cats and dogs are natural enemies. That they are too different to get along properly and that it will always be that way. Those kinds of people ignore all the evidence that shows how cats and dogs can be friends and not necessarily enemies.

Such evidence was what Valerie was witnessing at that very moment. It has been two months since the Red Huntress had joined Team Phantom and this is the first time she saw a peaceful interaction between ghosts.

That night, Valerie and Danny teamed up so they could free the city of ghosts faster so they could get a good night's rest as they had a test the next day. But then the giant ghost dog appeared and started to chase them. Valerie took her guns out and was about to shoot the ghost that had ruined her dad's work.

But then, Danny had gotten in between them to prevent her from shooting the ghost dog. Danny’s form that night was that of a huge lion, but not a normal one. His body looked as if it was made of fire, deep red from the body and yellow-orange for the magnificent mane. It’s a good thing it was fake fire made of ectoplasm, though for what Sam said, it felt weird to pet it.

“Get out of the way Phantom” Valerie said while still pointing her red ecto-gun at the huge mutt.

“Rooarr!” Danny shook his head in denial. He was not going to let her shoot Cujo. He was just a puppy!

“That huge dog destroyed my dad’s last job and you know that” Valerie was not backing off.

“Roooorr” Danny shook his head again and stretched like a dog does when they want to play.

Upon seeing that, Cujo stretched to and woofed in joy. His friend wanted to play! This was going to be so fun!

“You gotta be kidding me” Valerie recognized that body language.

“Roaro!” Danny nodded and flew towards the closest park. It wouldn't be good to play with Cujo in the middle of the street.

“Ugh…” Valerie groaned but stored her gun and followed after the two ghosts.

So, for the next hour and a half, Valerie was the babysitter of her two previous enemies. She saw how a giant lion and a giant dog would play as if their were puppies. It was adorable in a way, but the fact that they were slowly destroying a section of the park made the cuteness a little more scary.

The game lasted until Valerie got tired and just used her own thermos on Cujo. She ignored the whines coming from the ghost dog and just did her job. Though now she had to endure Danny looking at her with puppy eyes to let Cujo out.

“It's late and we have a test tomorrow” Valerie deadpanned.

“Hiiissssss” Danny really didn't want to think about tests anytime soon.

“Whatever, you are the one that's going to explain to Sam why all the trees in that sector of the park are gone” the Red Huntress smirked when Danny looked around and saw the disaster that his game left behind.

Valerie laughed at her ex-enemy’s fate and flew away to her house. She had a lot of sleep to catch up on.

King (AO3)

“Nyaaaa!” what seemed like a normal orange cat with green eyes was rolling in front of a very powerful entity.

“I'm afraid it can't be changed” Clockwork the Master of Time looked amused at his charge’s little tantrum. 

“Nyyyyaaaaaa!” an even longer sound left the cat's mouth.

“No one can do anything about it. Not me, nor the other ancients, and not even you” Clockwork said an absolute truth.

“Meow?” Danny stopped rolling on the floor and looked at Clockwork with the most adorable face he could muster.

“It doesn't matter how cute you look, I can't change the crown’s decision” the time ghost pointed at the object floating above Danny.

Today was supposed to be a normal day. Danny went to school, fought ghosts, hung out with Sam and Tucker in the Nasty Burger, fought ghosts, went home, got his homework interrupted by ghosts, had dinner, and fought ghosts before bed.

Everything was going normal, even the ghost appearing in the middle of the night was normal. What was not normal was the new accessories he obtained at transforming. At that time, he had become a cat made of mist, but then he noticed two solid objects in his body. One was a very familiar ring attached to one of his legs, the other was a small crown floating above his head.

Danny didn't pay attention to them and just went out to fight the ghost. When he returned home, Danny transformed back, but this time, the accessories did not go away. Though the ring could be easily hidden, the floating crown on fire could not.

Danny didn't know what to do with them, so he transformed again to go to the Ghost Zone and ask Clockwork to remove them. But, when he transformed and his new form was that of a normal orange cat, the crown had changed form as well. At least the ring looked normal though this time it appeared on the tail.

But the crown had changed too much. It was now enormous! Easily the size of an adult human. The ominous black metal brought too much attention to him, though at least it was not covered in green ectoplasmic flames.

Quickly going invisible and intangible, Danny flew to the Ghost Zone and made his way to the time ghost’s lair in hopes that he would help. But all his hopes were shattered when the older ghost said that he couldn't help him.

“The crown and ring had chosen their king. There is nothing for us to do” Clockwork said.

“Nya?” Danny did not want to let go of hope. He didn't want to be the king of the Ghost Zone! He was a cat half of the time and the other half he was a human, not a ghost. Besides, he didn't want this job at all!

“There is nothing we can do” Clockwork got closer to his charge and petted Danny’s head.

“But don't despair, being the king in the metaphorical eyes of these powerful objects won't make you the king of the Infinite Realms” Clockwork informed the half ghost.

“Meow!” Danny looked a lot more happy now.

“Exactly, you just need to be at least 1000 years for the title to stick and for ghosts to obey you like they did with Pariah Dark before his corruption” the time ghost said.

“Hisss” Danny shook his head in denial. He was not going to become king, no sir! At least he had a long time to figure out how to get out of this.

Clockwork just chuckled before returning to watch over the multiple timelines. This one was quite interesting.

Water (AO3)

Jack Fenton was a genius! He had done it! He had built the ultimate weapon to make sure that cat ghosts would stay away from his city once and for all. Well, one of them anyway. There were many and it seemed that a different one dared to appear in front of him.

But that was about to end! Jack Fenton had cracked the code! He was going to show those ghosts he meant business by using their weakness against them. Well, maybe not all of them as this was specifically designed to work on the ghost cats. But at least it will be a lesson to learn for one of them.

After all, which cat liked water?

Jack had repurposed a broken Fenton Bazooka and now, instead of opening a tiny hole in the veil of reality to send the ghost away, it sent a powerful blast of water. It was named the Fenton Bazooka Anti-cat Ghost version 1. Not matter what Jazz said, it was not a super soaker with metal parts, no sir.

Now that he had already tested it in the lab, and managed to almost flood the underground room, Jack Fenton was sure that his newest invention was ready for field testing.

With the Fenton Finder in hand, Jack went to the streets and followed after some ghosts. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t find the ghost cat right away. There were some ectopuses that were easily captured in the Fenton Thermos, some blobs that escaped his mighty inventions with just a glance at them, and an alleyway with weird looking shadows. But not a ghost cat in sight!

Just when he was about to give up his chase, Jack Fenton saw it. Another signal! Making sure to be fast and reach it before the ectoplasmic being would run away, Jack reached the place in record time thanks to the GAV’s new motor.

And then, he heard it.

“Meeoww” the echoing meowing of a ghost cat sounded from the end of the street.

Running quickly, Jack reached the end and screamed.

“Get this, you ectoplasmic fur ball!” with that he pulled the trigger and the bazooka expelled a large amount of water to the glowing figure.

When the water ended Jack had a better view of the cat ghost. It was large, too large for a cat. It didn't have any fur but the grey skin and tail let Jack know what kind of cat it was. It was a shark, more specifically, it was a cat with shark features.

The cat looked at Jack for a moment before turning to the ghost it was facing.

“It doesn't matter how wet you are now shark-kitty! Beware of my boxes!” the Box Ghost shouted before sending some boxes filled with trash at Danny.

Now that he was hydrated, Danny quickly moved out of the way before charging at the ghost with his mouth wide open, showing his sharp teeth. Danny had been having some trouble moving because this form apparently needed water to be more efficient and the fight was getting very frustrating until now. He didn't expect his dad's new invention would be a super soaker but he was not going to complain. Danny knew that if that water soaked any other cat form, he would have run away following his instinct. But now, it only served to help him win this fight.

After grabbing the clothes of his enemy with his jaw and with the Box Ghost weakly struggling in his hold, Danny turned to his dad. He nodded once and flew away before the huge man would try to use another weapon on him.

Fairy Ring (AO3)

“Let’s go to the forest you said” Danny grumbled.

“I know Danny” Sam said.

“Don't bring technology you said” Tucker grumbled as well.

“I know Tucker” Sam deadpanned.

“And now we are lost!” Danny and Tucker exclaimed at the same time.

“I know that!” Sam screamed in frustration.

It was a good idea at the beginning. After a week of exams, three new deadly inventions from the Fentons, and a lot of ghost fights, the three friends were utterly exhausted. In an attempt to make her friends relax, Sam had proposed a day in the nearby forest, with no anti-ghost technology on sight, and no distracting technology either.

It was supposed to only be a few hours of hiking before they returned home following a frequently used path. But for some reason, the path they followed became longer than expected. And in no time, the three friends were lost in the woods, which was strange as the forest was not very large.

“I already tried to get us out of here, but for some reason, nothing is working. So stop grumbling at me and be helpful!” Sam complained. She knew they were all frustrated but it was not fair to lay the blame on her.

“Sorry Sam” Danny looked down. His friend was right, that wasn't fair to her.

“Haa… sorry” Tucker nodded, Sam was right.

“Good” the goth forgave them easily.

“Do you think there is something ghostly in here?” Tucker asked after a few minutes.

“What do you mean?” Sam frowned. It would make sense for para-natural interference if that was the case.

“Well, the path was not supposed to be hard and it's the weekend so we should have seen some people too” Tucker pointed out.

“My ghost sense had not activated” Danny frowned. If there was a ghost nearby, he would have detected it.

“Don’t some things hide from it?” Sam asked. Danny's ghost sense wasn’t infallible.

“Maybe” Danny frowned. If this was a trick by some ghost, then he would be so angry.

Not wasting anymore time, Danny transformed into his ghost form. The cat form he took this time was small, like really tiny. He was even smaller than a kitten. Danny was a blue furred cat with six legs, compound eyes, and insect wings like those of a dragonfly. And he was the size of Tucker’s fist.

“Dude! That’s the smallest cat ever!” Tucker said in awe as Danny landed on his hand.

“You look like a cat fairy” Sam seemed amused.

“Nyy!” Danny was surprised that he made such a high pitched sound.

“So, do you detect anything?” Tucker asked. Hoping that Danny could detect what was wrong with this forest.

Danny looked around and tried to sense anything out of the ordinary. The trees looked like normal trees, the wind could be heard around them, and the insects were making insect sounds. Everything looked alright, even the path they were on looked alright.

Everything looked normal. Too normal. Danny looked back and forth the path and noticed something clearly not normal. One tree that was pretty close to them had a broken branch. And another tree a few meters in front of them had the same broken branch. And behind them, there was another tree with a broken branch in the same place.

It seemed that the path was looping over and over on the same few meters. They had been going in circles for a while thanks to some kind of magic, ghostly or not.

“Griiiww!l” Danny’s growl sounded adorable, though that didn't diminish his anger.

“What is it?” Sam asked while looking around.

Danny flew towards the broken branch and circled it for a moment.

“A broken branch?” Tucker asked, not understanding what Danny wanted to show them.

It only took Sam a few minutes to notice the same thing that Danny did.

“We are trapped in a looping path, aren't we?” Sam deadpanned. Of course, out of everyone that walks this path, it was them who got trapped in it.

“so… any idea on how to get out of here?” Tucker asked. Weird magical looping paths were not his area of expertise.

“Nope” Sam shook her head. 

She might know a lot about legends, fantastic creatures, and cryptids but actual magic stuff was impossible for her to make, at least for now. The goth had been in talks with Princess Dora and apparently there was a way for her to be able to use magic. Of course, that would take a long while so she was still a powerless human.

“Nyy…” Danny also had no idea what to do. He knew how to fight ghosts, not how to get out of magical traps.

The tiny fairy cat dropped to the floor in despair. How will they get out of the loop if none knew anything about magic?! Danny was about to growl in frustration when he noticed a pure white fungus growing rather quickly in front of him.

“Nyy?” Danny moved closer to inspect the mushroom but it disappeared just as he moved.

“Dude, did you do that?” Tucker had noticed the mushroom too.

“Maybe… Danny, stay still in the ground for a moment” Sam said, having an idea of what was happening.

Danny did, and just like before, a mushroom started to grow in front of him.

“Oh look! There are more!” Tucker pointed and indeed, there were fungi growing all around Danny.

“I think I know what it is” Sam said while inspecting the mushrooms.

“Want to share with the class?” Tucker asked. He had no idea what Sam was implying.

“Oh right” Sam smiled sheepishly, “it's a fairy ring”

“… I'm still lost” Tucker said.

“Well, in legends it's said that a circle of mushrooms in the forest floor is a gateway to the Fae world. Though nowadays it’s known that they grow that way because there was a body there that rotted” Sam explained.

“So… what would happen when the fairy ring finished forming then?” Tucker asked while pointing at the perfect circle of mushrooms growing around the tiny form of Danny. The circle was big enough for three people to stand comfortably in it.

“I’m… not sure. This is a ghostly one. Maybe it's a portal to the Ghost Zone” Sam guessed. Not all legends were true and she didn't know if this one could be the same considering it was made with the weird ghost magic that Danny randomly possessed sometimes.

“Better than the loop I guess” Tucker shrugged. He was not going to die in a stupid forest loop without his precious technology.

“True” Sam nodded. The Ghost Zone might be dangerous, but it was better than being trapped forever.

They only had to wait half an hour for the ring of mushrooms to complete, and when it did the pure white fungi started to glow ectoplasmic green. Sam and Tucker quickly entered the circle and, a few seconds later, they were transported away. When the humans and fairy cat disappeared, the mushrooms dried out quickly and the fairy ring disappeared from the looping space.

When they noticed they were not in the same place, Danny, Sam, and Tucker saw that they were in the beginning of the path at the entrance of the forest.

“Want to play video games?” Tucker asked. He was not going back in there.

“Let's go to my house and use the theater room in a co-op” Sam suggested.

“Nyy!” Danny flew around in utter happiness. This was going to be a lot better than that looping path.
