I’m being followed
I’m being followed by a butterfly.
Butterflies as Spiritual Messengers
In addition to power animal messages, butterflies convey other spiritual tidings. Angels often communicate with us through butterflies. When a butterfly appears in your midst, it could be your guardian angel or spirit guide sending you a signal. It is difficult to ignore a butterfly’s presence, so consider it an important communiqué.
Departed loved ones can also speak to us through butterflies. Many people report seeing butterflies shortly after a loved one’s death. Some see the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection, while others consider it to be the essence of the deceased’s soul.
Thank you Lolo for your blessing and for guiding me.

Catalyst
I always wanted to become a young catalyst (a catalyst for change to be exact). Now, it is slowly happening (fingers-crossed). You can call me a dreamer, a naive youth who believes that there is goodness in everyone.
I am just a simple woman, a loving daughter, a law student, and above all a young dreamer.
… … .

What is it all about?
Public service is not about your age, educational background, blood line (political roots). Public service is about helping others, contributing something to your community that lasts.... Today, we need a public servant with a pure heart, intellect, and a public servant with a strong political will. A political will that cannot be faltered. Enough with the TRAPO!

Swirls of Life
Tumblr media
I may not understand all the things now, but I believe that in God’s perfect time everything will be clear.
Ever since I was a child, I always wanted to become a doctor or a lawyer. Why? It’s not because of the money. I wanted to help the people who are underprivileged, contribute something to the society and so on. I studied law instead of medicine due to financial issues.
I was a dedicated and diligent law student. I worked and prayed so hard to pass all my subjects and eventually finish my law studies in 4 years. I even saved money to finance my journey to the miraculous Mama Mary in Simala, Cebu. During my first visit (together with papa), I prayed that I will be able to pass my Persons and Family Relations subject (my teacher is known for passing few students).
Tumblr media
During my second visit, I prayed that I will be able to pass my Obligations and Contracts subject (another Civil Law) plus my wish that I will be able to graduate without any delays, I even specified the year of my supposed graduation. Mama Mary helped me pass my Civil Law subjects, but rejected my prayer to graduate on time.
It was on July 21 when my life started to change. My father was scheduled to have a general checkup and medical treatment of his pneumonia. The supposed 1-day general checkup turned out to be a 1-week admission in the hospital and was diagnosed with renal nephropathy.
From that time on, I have decided to put down all my colorful highlighters, codal, law books for a much greater calling - to take care of my sick father. I was there the first day he got hospitalized, to his minor surgeries, first dialysis schedule and up to being discharged from the hospital.
I had to appear tough in front of my father, even if I secretly shed tears in the bathroom. I wanted to cry out loud, but I know he will surely hear me if I do that. If it were not for Almedi, my boyfriend, who was beside me all the time, my high school friends and relatives who visited us at the hospital, I might have lost my mind.
The first dialysis schedule was heartbreaking because I always saw my father as a strong and healthy man, but during that time it was the other way around. He constantly vomited and complained dizziness.
Deep in my heart, I believe that my father does not deserve such illness and suffering. There are cold-hearted criminals out there who deserve such torment.
However, I also believe that God has something in store for us. Everything happens for a reason. We may not know it now, but it will be clear someday.
I thank God that my father is doing well now and slowly regaining back his strength. He no longer needs constant vital signs monitoring and his body is adjusting to the treatment quite well!

Me, being deep. Did I really write this years ago?
All is well... Never give up!
It’s natural to feel disappointed when things don’t go your way. It’s easy to think “I can’t do it, so why try?”
But no matter how scared you are of making a mistake or how discourage you may become, NEVER GIVE UP! Because if you don’t try and if you don’t go after what you want in life… It wont come to you!
