Shigeo narrows his eyes slightly. He isn't here to do anyone any favours, Gojo Satoru included. He's here to do his job, which fortunately for Satoru doesn't involve spreading any gossip. Who does he think he is ?

« Don't worry. I have no intentions of diffusing any information that isn't mine to share. I couldn't humiliate you as much as you can do that yourself, anyway. Rest assured. » Yeah. Maybe that last past was absolutely unnecessary, but what if he's a little miffed at the implication that he's a snitch ?

Like... Maybe he was when they were young, but he's not anymore ! He has better judgment now. He literally only told on Satoru once and it seems like the guy can't get over it.

Shigeo's injury wasn't really that bad ; Ieiri-san had healed it up rather quickly and sent him off with a lollipop for his boo-boo. (Apparently Gojo-san had given her a whole bag of those, and she was generously handing them out.)

He had gone to his room to work on his part of the report, and only after he was gone did he decide to go looking for his senpai.

Shigeo felt incredibly uncomfortable as he stood outside his dorm room. He didn't want to disturb the other boy further, but he had something he wanted to ask, and Geto-san had said they could talk about it when they were back. He would've texted him to ask if they could talk rather than just show up by his room like a freak, but he didn't have his phone number.

After hesitating for the better part of a minute, Shigeo finally mustered up the courage to knock on the door.

« Geto-san ? It's Kimura... »

A drowning man offered brief respite, Suguru surfaces and breaks free from the dead's grasp when Shigeo speaks ( though is reality any kinder ? ). Blinking once, twice, he turns to him with a weak smile, "Yeah, of course. I'll make some tea when we're back, and we can talk about it then." Pull yourself together. He doesn't need to see this. Grounding himself with a few deep breaths, he places a hand on the other's shoulder and leads him towards the exit. "Careful. I know you said your arm's fine, but I'd rather you didn't injure yourself further."

And yet, there isn't a single curse left, his worries for nought: the veil clouding skies in opaque white has dissipated to reveal the heavens, golden rays of sunshine kissing skin as they step out of the building. What a relief. "You did well today, by the way." Because, despite Suguru's fumble, Shigeo had. As for what he wants to talk about, he mulls it over, uncertain. Training, possibly ? With how his mental state currently is, Satoru might offer better-- no, he's too busy. But outside of that, he hasn't a clue.

He'll just wait and find out when they're back at school.

Shigeo purses his lips, noticing Geto's shifting expression, the twitch in his eyebrows when he trails off.

He knows about some of what happened. He's heard about it. About Riko, about some Toji, about Haibara. Shigeo feels dreadful guilt thinking for a moment he can read Geto's thoughts — this isn't his fault, and he needs to be more careful to keep his senpai from worrying so much to the point he almost looks pale.

« Right, » he says. He needs to get it together.

« I would like to ask for help with something, yes. Not— Not my arm, it really is fine. More a general request. It can wait until we're back at school. »

Suguru raises his hands when Shigeo bows, wishing he'd stop. "Why are you apologising ? None of that was your fault." If it's meant to soften his guilt, it fails completely. Causing trouble ? No, that's not it, that's-- His eyes squeeze shut, the air around him oppressive, heavy. "Please, you don't need to do that. I should have kept a closer eye on you, I can't take another..." Trailing off, his thoughts go unspoken: Death. Loss of a classmate. Some of them are so young, so unprepared. Why are they here ? Why are they responsible for this ? Forced to accept tasks that adults with experience should handle, breaking them gradually. The curses fought today aren't ones a first-year can handle - what would've happened if he'd gone alone ?

Yuki's voice echoes in his mind; Suguru thinks he's closer to an answer.

Never mind that now. Those injuries, bloody and raw, are his priority. Shigeo says it doesn't hurt, but the sorcerer doesn't believe him. "We should get that looked at and healed." The curtain's dissipated, and their auxiliary manager awaits with help. Soon. Soon. "Do you need any help ? We can review the day once you've been patched up."
