Okay, I've seen multiple people mention how they feel that Walter DIDN'T want Misty to take the copy of Lottie's phone. I disagree, I think he absolutely Knew, and Wanted Misty to take the copy. Otherwise, why did he leave it on the table? Being a citizen detective, and being as smart as we've seen our boy Walter being, why would he leave the phone? Like, why would he leave evidence unguarded there at ALL unless it was Walter's PLAN for Misty to take it. ((And less important but, why'd he only take one drink to add the shavings to, and why'd he take his sweet time doing it??? He knew only one drink would be needed, because he didn't expect Misty to stay for very long, because he knew she'd open the phone without him and leave.))

I've seen too many comments about Walter being a boring side character, but this show has such an obvious theme of manipulation, I don't think any side character should be 'out of play' for future plot points. Especially not Walter. He knew who the Yellowjackets were before he talked to Misty for the first time. Since knowing Misty, he kept calling the rest of the YJ's her "Friends" but this last episode, it turned. They weren't "friends", he specifically called them her "Team Mates" and "The YellowJackets" with this,,,, Flat Tone. At least, flat/cold for Walter's usually upbeat personality as we've seen it.

He is totally a goofy looking guy, but I think that's part of the "disguise" with him. As we saw again in 03×09, he is surprisingly loaded with cash. Private Helicopter, Big House in the middle of nowhere, but clothes and personality that always come across as silly. It's an act so he isn't suspected, but I think Walter is going to be a big part of the plot going forward. He knows something the YJ's don't know, and he is counting on whatever he has Planned.
