Kairi and Lea’s Keyblade Training - Part One

Belle trains Kairi and Lea, freezing time in the world so they can take as long as they need to. After a while of training, Belle allows the two a break. Just in time for Christmas.

While Belle is wanting to bring Christmas back to the castle, Kairi just wants to know what Lea is trying to remember.

I’m sorry I left without saying goodbye. Did Master Yen Sid tell

you? I'm training to become a Keyblade wielder like you. That's right. No more waiting for you to come back from your adventures. I want to get out there and do my part to help. Master Belle has allowed us to train under her at the castle, where she stopped time for us. We can take as long as we need to complete our training. She’s an amazing mage. Oh, and by "us," I mean me and Lea. He's really sorry for all the trouble he caused. I told him it's fine, but he won't stop apologizing. I'll admit I was a little scared of him at

first, but I've gotten to know him better. All he ever wanted was to help his friend. Honestly, it's hard not to like him. Every now and then, I catch him staring at me. When I ask what's wrong, he says, "I'm not sure.

I think I'm forgetting something. Don't know what." Kida, I think it may have something to do with you. Your journey is all about helping people: some that you've never met before, and some like Lea that you have. They're all counting on you. It won't be easy, but I hope you'll remain the happy and cheerful Kida I know. There's no heart your smile can't reach.

Kairi feels eyes staring at her. She looks up, seeing Lea leaning against the open door to her bedroom at Beast’s castle. “Lea? Is something wrong?” She asks, making him break his stare. “It’s nothing. Sorry.” He tries to shake it away, but Kairi knew better. She waved her hand, letting him come in.

Lea walks into her room, sitting on a chair opposite from her bed as she continues writing. “A letter?” He asks, receiving a nod in return. “For Kida?” She shrugs a little. “Technically, but I won’t send it. It’s more for me.” “Ask Cogsworth. He’ll send it for you.”

Kairi nods in understanding before continuing. “Yeah, but it's okay. I just like talking to Kida, even if it's on paper.” Lea finally got it, dropping the topic. He pulls out a couple of ice cream bars. “Here.” He hands one to her. “Ice cream? Really? In this weather?” She was slightly teasing.

“Yeah, I asked Master Belle to pick them up.” Lea explains. “We both summoned Keyblades. Gotta celebrate.” She accepts one of the ice cream’s. “You’re sweet, Lea.”

Lea zoned out again, catching Kairi’s attention. “What?” He snaps out of it. “Nothing. I’m good…” He lies, turning away from her. She didn’t press on anymore. “So, next week, you ready?” She asks, getting a half hearted response. “Yeah. Of course.”

“Don’t hold back, Lea. Promise?”

He looks up to Kairi after hearing her say that, only he didn’t see her. He couldn’t clearly see who it was, but he did see that it was a boy with spiky, pink hair and an Organization coat. Lea’s ice cream slips out of his hand and he feels tears streaming down his face.

Kairi, concerned for her friend, immediately got off her bed and walked over to him. “Lea? Are you ok?” He tries wiping the tears away as Kairi gets closer to him. He gets up from his seat, still trying to clear away the ongoing tears. “Yeah, I’m sorry.” “You’re crying. What’s wrong?”

She was now trying to get an answer from him, only to be shut down once again. “Something in my eyes. I gotta go. Sorry.” He says, finally done crying. She decided to drop it, not wanting to pressure him. “‘Kay, but stop apologizing.”

Lea looks at Kairi for a second before responding. “Fine, on one condition.” He says. She responds with a question to what. “Call me Axel from now on.” She nods in understanding. “Ok, Axel.” He gently smiles at her before heading out of the room, leaving his ice cream on the floor.

Later that same day, Kairi was taking a walk through the castle, stopping in her tracks when she hears music coming from a nearby hallway. She enters the room, seeing an organ playing a chilling tune. She tries to stay out of sight.

He suddenly stops, opening his eyes. “Don’t be alarmed, child. Come out.” He says. Kairi walks into his line of vision. “Ah, you must be one of those “trainees” sent here.” Kairi bows her head in respect. “Yes. My name is Kairi. It’s a pleasure to meet you, sir.” “And I am Maestro Forte, Court Composer. The pleasure is mine, Carrie.” That takes her off guard. “My name is Kairi.”

He changes the subject. “Anyways, in the midst of my crescendo, I thought I heard merriment outside the window. Have a look see, will you?” She walks over, looking through the window. She smiles to herself. “Would you look at that?”

“Oh! I think I might!” Forte says, raising his voice. “I’ll just pick myself up and- Oh!” Large clanking echos in the room as Forte “tries to move”. “What’s thi- hump-! I’M BOLTED TO THE WALL!”

Kairi sheepishly chuckles. She turns back to the window. “The Beast is skating.” She tells Forte. “Why on earth would he do that?” He sounded disgusted. “Well it looks like Belle is helping him.” She felt her smile grow. “It’s so romantic just thinking about it.”

At that moment, more music started playing. Her vision went green for a minute before going back to normal. “You know why I can’t have that. Humanity is entirely over rated. Before the enchantment, there was no need for my particular brand of genius. But now, the master needs my melodies to feed his tormented soul. I am his confident and his best friend...and I won't let some peasant girl ruin it for me!”

Forte let’s out his frustration before calming. “Carly, see to it that this blossoming love withers on the vine.” She nods her head. "Sure thing, Maestro." As she walks out of the door, she forgets the whole interaction, heading down to one of the many rooms in the castle, wondering where Axel went.

"Why is The Beast such a grump?" She hears Belle down the hall, followed by Chip. "I don't know. He's always been this way." The two walk into the same room Kairi is in. "Even on Christmas?" Belle asks, receiving a yes in return. Belle walks over to a nearby desk as Chip hops over to Kairi. "Kairi? What's Christmas?" He asks her. She slightly smile, kneeling down and extending her hand down to Chip.

Chip hops onto her hand, letting her lift him up. "You must know about Christmas, Chip." She says, not taking notice to Belle walking up to the two. "Stockings in front of the fire? Tree? Tinsel?" Chip shakes his head, not knowing what she was talking about. "What about presents? You must know about that." Kairi asks a final question, receiving an enthusiastic response. "Presents? Do I get one?"

Kairi places Chip on a nearby desk as Belle answers his question. "Of course. Everyone gets a present on Christmas." "Even the master?' Chip must be referring to The Beast, who was the master of the castle. Kairi had met him once when she arrived there. She wasn't around him long enough to know exactly what he was like, but considering everyone's loud opinions on him and the fact that Axel tried to stay away from him is that he wasn't really favored by the people who shares the same space as him. Belle still answered Chip's question. "Yes, even the master."

"What are you going to get him?" Chip asks Belle, confusing her. "I don't really know him that well to know what he would want." Chip decided to change the question. "What would you want?" Belle smiles. "What I love most in the world are my books. My stories." Kairi smiles, hearing Belle say that.

Before Asnem dragged the Destiny Islands to darkness, Kida was a lot like Belle in this instance. When them and their brother weren't hanging out with each other, Kida always kept to herself with her books. It was the only thing that Kida kept from their old home, but they have been destroyed since.

"Why don't you give the master a story?" Chip asks, sparking an idea in Belle. "You're right, Chip. A story." Belle places a piece of paper down on the desk and Chip hops on top of it as Kairi takes a hold of a quill pen.

Belle: When I get to know him We'll find more things to say One day I will reach him There has to be a way Everyone needs someone He must need someone, too When I get to know him better Here's what I will do I'll read him stories From picture books All filled with wonder Magic worlds where the impossible Becomes the everyday We'll find a mountain-top And some moon-beams to sit under I'll lead, because I know the way! Kairi: So much to discover I do it all the time I could live inside bright pages Where the words all rhyme We will slay the dragons That still follow him around And he'll smile Yes, he'll smile As his dreams leave the ground!

Belle: Stories and stories About mermaids, kings and sunken treasure Magic worlds where the impossible Becomes the everyday

Kairi: Stories about heroes Who overcame their deepest sorrows They'll put hope into his heart again To cherish everyday

Belle: He'll find a better world And the strength to face tomorrow

Belle had accidentally tied Chip down to the packaging of the book the three had made for The Beast. Kairi helps him out of the ribbon. "Do you think the master will like his gift?" He asks Kairi. "I'm pretty sure he will."

So, does this mean we're gonna have a Christmas? / Absolutely!

Reiko Post

Reiko is a character in the Verum Rex video game. Not much is known about her, but she looks a lot like Kida. Her clothes are oddly reminiscent of Sora’s canon Kingdom Hearts 3 outfit.

Reiko has a chainsaw as a weapon to fight against the Gigas in Quadratum.

Reiko and Madison (IDK her name) are fiancés and were on the cusp of planning their wedding when the Giga’s took Madison away.

She has two companions, Magia & Aegis, and a sister named Koko. In reminiscent of their names, Magia has magic, Aegis can create shields, and Koko has power and ver dark matter (but not Darkness).

The trailer of Verum Rex portrays Reiko as the hero of the game, but that’s not her real story…

Xatlyn-Sage End Bosses

Kingdom Hearts II

Yes, I did try to make Xatlyn look like a Sailor Moon villain. Let’s just get the obvious out of the way.

You fight Xatlyn after you defeat Demyx, Saïx, Luxord, Xigbar, and Ettrax. Almost all of them tell you to “Go easy on her” and “She’s more broken. Be gentle.” When they tell you, you wouldn’t know who they’re talking about. Being the only Nobody who is known to have grown a heart, Xatlyn is a lot more sensitive and can have her heart broken more easily than the others. This makes her a very unstable boss to fight.

You first fight Xatlyn when you make your way to the Alter of Naught. She’s almost in tears, thinking about the loss of her friends. She takes her anger and sadness out on you as she separates you from everyone else. You defeat her you’re sent back to the Alter of Naught.

From the Alter of Naught, you can see Xatlyn floating near the false Kingdom Hearts. Only this time, she has a Keyblade in her hand.

Xatlyn disappears into Kingdom Hearts, leaving a door for you to follow her into. After walking through the door, Kairi and Queen Minnie are separated from the group, only Daisy, Clarabelle, and Lauriam with you.

Making your way through the fragmented city, you find Xatlyn, but this time she’s wearing gold and silver full body armor, very indicative of Keyblade armor from way back when.

You defeat Xatlyn a second time, sending you back to The Alter of Naught. This time, Keyblade falling from her hand, Xatlyn fades away. The Keyblade with her.

Almost everyone besides you and Lauriam make it out through a Dark Corridor while you two get stuck.

While searching the castle for another way out, you find another Dark Corridor. This one leads to a white room with a man in a black hood sitting on a chair. He is alive, but only just. Xemnas.

As you walk up to him, a shadowy presence finds its way into the room, perching on top of the throne. It is Sage, Xatlyn’s heartless counterpart. As she tries to harm Xemnas, you need to protect his almost lifeless body.

She manages to get the upper hand and disappears into the castle, possessing it from the inside and using Xemnas’ almost lifeless body as a vessel.

You defeat her and she sinks into the floor, possessing the castle and using Xemnas’ body anyway.

You defeat Sage a second time only to be sent to The Abyss. Xatlyn (in the outfit from the picture) is here, practically stating her title as Countess of The Abyss. She says that she’s highly disappointed in you for not keeping Xemnas safe and allowing her heartless counterpart to use him as a vessel. Having him be killed in the process.

You fight Xatlyn a third time, this time while she’s using all the powers and weapons of all past Organization Members. From Larxene’s knives and Etrrax’s Force to Demyx’s sitar and Méxnnia’s Light, Xatlyn really brings the pain with her late friends powers and abilities. And considering you’re fighting her in The Abyss (one of her domains), she’s extra strong.

After defeating her, you and Lauriam are greeted by a light shining in the distance. It leads you to the Realm of Darkness, where you find Kairi’s letter.

Olympus Stone

Not much is gonna change about the Olympus Stone, just a few things.

Anyone can use the Olympus Stone, but only the gods and goddesses of Mount Olympus can actually access it.

So, how was Organization XIII able to take such an important item so easily?

I know it’s going to be a question at one point, but I’m not explaining how Ansem as a walking heart and Sage as a Search Ghost were able to have biological kids.

The True Dandelion

I’m not going to give away exactly who the True Dandelion is, but I can give some clues.

The True Dandelion is the daughter of two Foretellers, Master Ira and Master Invi. The Keyblade War started when she was barely toddling. She gets her keyblade really early in life.

Her mother, Invi, trusts her in the care of Master Ava. Some would say Mistake Number One. Ava secretly trains her to be a Dandelion.

The True Dandelion leaves to the Data Daybreak Town with the other Dandelions and is found by Luxu. She disappears with him, leaving no trace of where she went.

Luxu wraps her up in a white blanket before sending her to the future.

Nara’s Name

Nara was named Nara because I thought it was a cute name, but I remembered something that brings a new level of complexity to it. And something my sister brought up also makes the name Nara perfect for them.

There’s a (defunct) theme park by the name of Nara Dreamland. It was made by a businessman behind Walt Disney’s back as a Disneyland in Japan. It was shut down when a Disneyland in Tokyo was being made.

The other funny thing (that my sister brought up) about it was their name sounded like a name for a Bizarro Sora. Thinking about it, it makes sense considering how similar yet how different the two look and act.

Nara is the Dreamland to Sora’s Disneyland!!!

Notes: Kida gets separated from Daisy and Clarabelle and lands in the Red Queen’s castle. She meets up with Alice. The two find the Vorpal Sward and escape the castle before getting ready for war.

Ariel

Notes: Friend turned Foe. Ariel does start off as a friend and party member. She helps you defeat Ursula, only to steal her magic and join the Council of Disney Villains.

Scarecrow / Tin Woodsman / Cowardly Lion

World: The Land of Oz

Movie: Return to Oz (1985)

Weapon: Axe (Tin Woodsmen)

Notes: You can only choose one at at time, and some combinations with Daisy or Clarabelle just doesn’t work. I can make a post that dives into good and bad combinations if people want it.

Prince Naveen

World: The Bayou

Movie: The Princess and The Frog (2011)

Weapon: metal ladle

Notes: When Princess Tiana got taken away by the Council of Disney Villains, they also turned Naveen back into a frog. He’s started to take things more seriously and his only goal is to bring Tiana back home.

Queen Sally

Notes: Sally usurped the former King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington. She’s always one to lend a helping hand when Kida is in the neighborhood. She is then taken by the Council of Disney Villains.

Dream Finder and Figment

Notes: The Dream Finder recruits Kida, Daisy, and Clarabelle to help him create a Figment of Imagination. Once Figment was created, he starts being a Summon.

Max Dennison

World: Cursed Forest

Movie: Hocus Pocus (1993)

Weapon: baseball bat

Notes: Dani was also taken the Council of Disney Villains. Max follows her only to be taunted by Lauriam. He and Kida (sans keyblade) team up to traverse through Hallow Bastion and find their siblings. Dani is revealed as a Princess of Heart along with Kairi. After Kida defeats Ansem; Seeker of Darkness, Max and Dani find their way home to deal with the witch sisters.

Hispanic Representation in My Version of Kingdom Hearts

I am Hispanic, but I don’t speak the language. That being said, I’m gonna want so kind of Hispanic representation in this alternate universe.

Kida

All of Kida’s family (minus her father) are Hispanic, but she’s the only one who took the time to learn the language. Lauriam couldn’t care less and Kairi isn’t smart in the language area. Kida can hold a decent conversation in Spanish.

Naminé

Being Kida’s Nobody, she should know some Spanish, but she doesn’t. She spends most of her time (outside of missions) with Axel, who doesn’t know anything about the language. Poor girl.

Roxas

I’m not ashamed to admit that Roxas only learned Spanish to impress Kida. He’s not Hispanic whatsoever, I just wanted to bring that up.

Ventus

Being a partial replica of Kida, he actually does know Spanish and his Spanish is nurtured through his adoptive mother teaching him. He can very well hold a conversation and the Spanish sometimes slips out at random moments.

Xatlyn

To be honest, most Hispanic characters are either related to Kida or Xatlyn. There’s no one else. Xatlyn helps Ventus with his own Spanish language.

Sage

Sage also has Hispanic backgrounds as much as Xatlyn. She doesn’t really help anyone with the language, though.

Hayner, Pence, and Olette

Being the children of Sage, the do have Hispanic background. They don’t speak Spanish most of the time, but it does slip out sometimes.

Main Party Members

Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow join Kida on her journeys. They both are residents of the (unvisitable) Waste Land, but mostly live at Disney Castle when they aren’t on any journeys with Kida.

Clarabelle Cow is a forgotten character and has lost her heart to oblivion. She’s not a nobody and doesn’t have a heartless counterpart. As a resident of the Waste Land without a heart, Clarabelle can earn a heart by protecting her world and many others from The Darkness. She served as the captain of the royal guard at Dark Beauty Castle before it fell to darkness.

Daisy Duck is a bettleworx copy of the real Daisy Duck created by The Mad Doctor. She also doesn’t have a heart, but she doesn’t really need one. Overtime, she has been completed to the point people have actually mistaken her for the real Daisy. She was Oswald and Sadie’s court magician before The Waste Land got taken by The Darkness.

The Waste Land fell to darkness a while before the Destiny Islands, where Kida lives. Oswald and Sadie knew of the incoming danger and had their residents evacuate the land. Disney Castle house the surviving residents along with their king and queen.

Disney Castle’s Queen left with Sadie to investigate the worlds and told everyone that they needed to find the wielder of Kingdom Key. Daisy and Clarabelle offer to go, finding Kida after her world got lost. They meet up in Traverse Town.

Both Kida and Data-Xion have actual kill counts purely out of their hatred of puns.
