You're devaluing words that should elicit the same shock and disgust that most people will feel when reading that article. Pedophilia isn't a word to throw around to win an internet argument about fictional characters' relationships. Child porn isn't a phrase to throw around because you want to see legal content you don't like banned. Rape isn't a word to throw around because some adults engage in consensual kinky sex you don't like.

Pedophilia is two men forcing themselves on their adopted children to satisfy unnatural sexual urges. It's finding out your husband is raping your son, and feeling jealous that he did it behind your back instead of including you from the start, then suggesting they start raping the younger son too.

Child porn is filming yourselves raping your children and distributing it online for other monsters to see. It's using those videos to advertise your children for prostitution.

Rape is forcing children who cannot consent to have sex with you. It's using them as sex slaves every single day. It's pimping them out to other men. It's getting caught and then claiming that it's really the kids fault for "coming on to you" and "not saying no".
