Fakers are not the problem. fakeclaiming is. fakeclaiming culture online (ESPECIALLY in mental health spaces, especially TIMES TWO in plural ones) is so rancid, it makes me SEETHE.

I see so many people furiously deny their own lived experiences - things that they literally WENT THROUGH and had happen to them - and refuse to accept that its real, because they are downright PETRIFIED of somehow 'accidentally faking'. theyre so scared of 'attention seeking' even though this fear makes them tell no one.

they put themselves down and fakeclaim their own experiences. acting like theyve been hit by a car but the broken bone still just cant possibly real because maybe they secretly got run over for attention and didnt know it. they hurt themselves, hate themselves, repress it, deny it, downright gaslight themselves. all because they are scared of faking.

and thats not a natural fear. thats the fear that comes when the community decides fakers are the worst, and give themselves the right to act like they know other peoples minds. its what happens when a comminity can suddenly decide youre a liar and plaster your face all over their blocklists and cringe comps as a capital F Faker without even having a conversation with you. its what happens when these faker hunters decide its too rare, you cant possibly have that, here are the rules, follow the rules, follow the rules or youre a fake, the rules always change, the rules vary from person to person, but you still have to know them.

Hi! If it's not allowed for me to ask this, I don't need an answer. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable /gen. I also want to specify im not anti endo. I'm part of a system and want to learn more about endogenic systems. I'm not sure if we're traumagenic or not. I'm also alterhuman and this community seems to be very supportive of endos, so i know they're not bad and obviously even if people don't support them they should be treated as people Everyone I see who's against it usually thinks of stuff like "alter trading" and similar things which i can't tell if thats true. Is stuff like that a real thing? I want to be as open minded and supportive as possible, its just been really confusing to try and learn about. When I try I feel like I only hear of extremes, and I don't want to base my opinions on stuff like that. I'd also like to clarify I HATE syscringe because they're intolerant and actively seek out people to bully (I would know because i was one around four years ago, im a much better person now and regret it so much). I'm so sorry i suck at words what im trying to say is im uneducated and would genuinely like to learn. I'm sorry for how long this is and if the tone of this comes off wrong, im bad at framing what I want to say.

alter tradign does happen but its like legit the tiniest fraction of the community and mostly radqueer shit and a scam. its chill that you want to learn, dont worry you dont need to pad your message with disclaimers

Especially if it’s in cursive, in a font that’s difficult to read, or if it’s a color on a background that has a color extremely similar to the font color . (We can read cursive just not very great at it . And the ones with colors similar to the backgrounds *especially bright ones* are hard on our optics)
