He was not interested in going to see the Daytons. In fact, that was the last thing he wanted to do. “I’m not letting you go see your robot extended family without me.”

“That’s right…another kid’s birthday is coming up.” He was trying to make it sound like a joke, but he had honestly lost track of his kid’s birthdays. There were so many.

“I think of it as ‘why can’t they fix their own problems?’” He looks back at her. “For a family who doesn’t trust or really believe in magic, they rely on it way too often.”

Peter sighs heavily unsatisfied with her answer. But he knew it was the best he was going to get. “Fine.”

“What are your thoughts for planning? Venue? Clothes? I want to know everything.” It had always been a dream of hers to plan a wedding. Of course, she had hoped it would be her own, but it was nice enough that it was Bella’s.
