Though…” *he came back in closer, his breath as chilly as the salty sea air as he purred loudly, the sound deepening his voice as he spoke,* “Zeus would probably be the only other from your list willing to get entangled in the limbs of another version of himself. He crouched once more before placing a tender kiss to Starseidon’s forehead, a playful glint in his eyes as he held himself up with clawed forearms, his voice smoothing out as he asked jovially,* “Now, did that feel like a dream?” *A tender smile spread across his face, sharpened canines glinting softly through the tug of his lips.*

He unbraided his hair to allow the tendrils, only two in total, on either side have freedom to move as they pleased. He soon spoke again, voice gentle and soft,* “If rumor serves correct from Hermes, it’s a surprise another one of us hasn’t captured you yet to add to their growing hoard. A shame, but then again, being as free and fluid as the water is our nature.” *‘Campuseidon leaned in close before gently nipping at Starseidon’s ear. He pulled back as he gave a soft chuckle,* “We’re friends now. I should probably warn you- I enjoy biting those I keep close. Though I know my own strength to hold back enough.”

Monsterous-

Sharp toothed, hippocampus-like creature with fin-like ears and mane. The fish half is similar to a Bluntnose six-gill shark. Sometimes it is only the tail and still has the hind quarters of a horse depending on the area he’s in and what domain he’s exactly invoking. He has horns similar to that of the Crete cattle. Poseidon has glowing ichor eyes with lighter, golden pupils. He has three gills on either side of his neck, and three gills along either side of his torso. His face can be mistaken for a kelpie taking the form of a black coated Zakynthos horse. Though, more accurately, it’s a combination of the Zakynthos horse’s face, and Cetus’ tooth structure. There are tentril-like stingers along the browline, and along the jawline where it splits at the throat. He has a primarily black and blue color palette with a light tealish-green spotting of bioluminescence. There is some counter shading going on with the coat. In this form, he is normally around 40 feet tall, but shrinks to size if around his children (such as Polyphemus, where Poseidon would be about 15 feet tall around him in times of comforting his son, who’s 14 feet tall.) The flocking at the back of his hooves turns into additional fin webbing. The tentacle-like tendrils sometimes have a mind of their own

Post “600 Strike”: The scars from his own trident glow the same color as his eyes, ichor gold. This is only from the trident scars and not Odysseus’ sword. Total trident scars should be around 24. Those scars are as thin as paper cuts (aka: I don’t need to draw them unless it’s very up close and personal.) The sword scars glow a magnificent Egyptian blue color.

Humanoid-

Poseidon retains his part fin-like/part horse-like ears, horns, and tail. The tail is minimized to be a bit more practical. The lower half of his legs are horse-like in shape and his forearms keep their fins. He does also retain the twelve gills he has on his body. His teeth are sharp, but look much more human, so his canines are extended slightly. His skin has a natural tan to it, as if he’s at the beach all day. His hair is long, slightly wavy, and black, besides two tendrils that end up getting braided into the sideburns. These tendrils still have their bioluminescence, and it spreads into the light tealish-green “freckles” on his face. He has the body of a swimmer (Michael Phelps inspiration possibly?) and his chin is accentuated by a short, black beard. His eyes are a cerulean color with a dim glow. He has bigger spots all across his body that glow that same light tealish-green color, a testament to how brutally his father, Cronus, ate him specifically. Often, he is around 16 feet tall in this form. There are some lines of age, but his face is almost always in an annoyed, frustrated scowl.

Human-

Poseidon still has tanned skin and black hair, but his hair texture is similar to a tight beach curl/loose coil. The light tealish-green freckles and spots lose their “unnatural” coloration. The freckles are a darker color than his skin while the rest of his scars are a slightly lighter, almost silvery, color. His physique is more muscular, but still akin to an Olympic level swimmer.

Post “600 Strike”: The scars from his own trident faintly glow an ichor gold color, but only the gods, demigods, or those acutely aware of the divine can perceive the glow. This is only from the trident scars and not Odysseus’ sword. Total trident scars should be around 24.
