Okay now that we’re past the week’s moratorium on Skyjacks 179 spoilers:

Listen I have so many emotions associated with this episode for the obvious reasons, also fuck was this funny to listen to. Vibes of trying to hit Travis Matagot with a flyswatter but even when you’re writing him off the show he won’t. fucking?? die??? Love seeing the setup for moments when this could turn into a tragedy—both with the ‘what are your reasons for living’, which would have been tremendous and heartwrenching for a character that makes overtures to such deep and abiding apathy, but also the ‘hey this’ll work if you turn into a creature, but you won’t be able to change back’—and then it just gets blasted into oblivion by Travis going ‘nuh uh’. This isn’t a complaint btw this is peak Travis behavior. What a way to go out.

 one of the best things that happened last year, was that i got commissioned by the oneshot network to make these two posters for the Into the Wood arc of skyjacks, which started last november. there’s not much i can say without vibrating from excitement even now! i’m still just so profoundly thankful for the opportunity, the trust and patience that @campaignskyjacks gave me for this task, and i’m still so proud of how these turned out. i definitely needed the help last year, so this was a dream job to get, and one i’m very proud to have done well. especially considering that my only sj fanart before this were those ponies i drew one time. hm. 

  i’m just happy. i’m still so happy about this. zoom in and check all the little details, i made them with loads of heart! take flight!

Orimar Vale is a ghost haunting his own body haunted himself by his own legend, haunted by the traditions of an erased culture haunted by the story of a king that only he knows

His body is a crumbled thing filled with an army of ghosts, he is a cementery, he is multitudes of departed and worst of all, despite what he will try to make you think he cannot fit so much grief. Orimar Vale has never been a grave man.

My favourite thing about Gable is that, often unlike other non-human characters who have entered human society, their stupidity doesn’t come from a misunderstanding of human customs and social cues. No, Gable has been there for 200 years and thus knows more things about the land they’re living in than most other people alive in it. Instead, Gable is stupid simply because they’re a fucking idiot

The Dark eyed Rusalka is a river spirit that tempts the unwise into the waters of the River.
