Books are like yarn in that if you buy them from a small local shop then you're actually performing a civic duty and you can buy as much as you want without feeling guilty. So actually my towering TBR pile and stash of untouched yarn is kind of heroic if you think about it,

I can't do much but maybe this will interest someone. This cookbook is by a classically trained autistic chef, made for people with sensory issues. It's sold 1/6th of its initial run because apparently no one wants to have an autistic person interviewed on TV.
Apparently it's also very funny.
Spread this around! I bet someone here can use this.

oho? creatures?
You intended to summon a spirit of sky and sun and wind, but circumstances - a swell of mist ahead of a storm and a solar eclipse - instead called up a spirit of the deep mist, a thing of shimmering energy and void-deep shadow. It was remarkably amenable to lending you a hand, seemingly grateful to experience the world above its home with the safety of a binding to protect it. While you never developed a means of direct communication, the sense you got across the summoning bond was that this was an adventure, to be shared when it eventually returned home one day.

The Bookwyrm. Here's a big, happy bean. Sometimes "happy" means dark, dusty, cramped and full of paper! 💙

Understanding a line of foreshadowing so well that you have to stand up and walk around the house saying “shit shit shit shit shit” until you’re composed enough to go back.
