even a few hours apart serves as to be the most heart wrenching torture for the two rambunctious residents of the volturi palazzo.     the moment his wife enters his office with the most forlorn air,   the volturi leader’s attention sways entirely from his paperwork.     she occupies his entire desk in a blink of an eye,   draped over in a melodramatic pose echoing the great greek works of art.     but he does not seem to mind this particular interruption in the slightest,   leaning in to give her a habitual kiss,   caressing her pallid face.

the cruise itself was very luxurious, small in numbers of occupants due to the sheer exclusivity and the mere fact that it had been a single’s cruise. sulpicia, though tired from having to be flirtatious towards other men and women, couldn’t have been more excited for the grand finale. it was the second night - a cute introduction game to get to know everyone on the journey - where she spied aro across the room. a beaming grin that rivaled the sun itself stretched her full lips. she approaches his table and seats herself across from him, taking inventory of who he was sitting next to and how the man next to her was staring obnoxiously down her short sundress. “bonjour!” her french accent was surprisingly accurate, “it’s good that we’re finally getting our introductions in. no?” she chuckles. Her red eyes locked on to aro’s before reaching out to shake his hand, “yvette de la serre, pleasure to meet you.”

gasps surround a single man holding a top hat near the buffet department of the cruise.     a small collection of people had briefly forgone the primary reason for their participation on this week long expedition to watch the simple act of a magician producing all arrangements of small animals out of his simple top hat.     he performs it all with a casual air,   evidently honed in his craft,   with his best showman grin in response to the applause.

however his attention is thwarted entirely from entertaining at the sight of the sole person he has been anticipating the entire evening.     ushering the crowd away with a grandiose speech of farewell,   he then tilts his head towards the approaching woman.     aro smiles with a cordial inclination in response to her greeting.
