My poor Daigo <3 He is quite strong... but maybe not as much as the man that fought Kiryu, took multiple shots, disarmed the shooter and suplexed both of them off a ruff  roof after restraining the enemy for a few moments while saying his goodbyes before jumping.

Real life proof: I was raised by my mother and stepfather. He and I call each other by our names. After 20 years of being my father he still lets out an embarrassed laugh whenever I call him ‘dad.’ Maybe this reaction is normal for people in this situation?

I honestly don’t understand why my dad and Kiryu would react like this. I’d be extremely happy and proud and wouldn’t shut up about it. I chose you and you chose me.

I do know this: Sometimes blood means everything and sometimes it means absolutely nothing. What matters is to nurture the bonds we have with the people that really love us, genuinely want the best for us and help us grow.
