y'all i went into my old workplace together and when i tell u i was near crying. i miss my old job 😭
#granted it had a time limit from the start cuz its a residency placement#but i got along so well w everyone there from cleaning staff to senior docs#also. being kind to ward nurses is ALWAYS a good idea#even if u dont always see eye to eye just. be kind and they'll have ur back 110%#i had to go in as a patient this time but everyone was as excited as me to see one another 😭😭#i hope to get a permanent position there after finishing redicency fingers crossed it'll happen#just seeing the nurses all happily ask if 'im back for good' im 🥹🥹#burrito talks#burrito talks medicine

working in a psych clinic means u gotta get comfortable in your own skin real fuckin fast or ruin your own mental health in the process
#tbf working here has helped me accept myself a lot lol#u hear Some Shit from patients that if u dont have thick skin will stick with u#and i mean some things do but i try and let only the positives do so#eg when a patient thanks me or little happy instances#this was totally prompted by a lovely lady in a manic episode (affectionally) calling me a fatty lmao#(we have a word for it in my native language thats not that offensive)#i honestly just died laughing over it 🤣#u learn to take jabs in stride bc its not directed at YOU specifically ur just the one that happens to be there#burrito talks#burrito talks medicine
