I've said, before, that if Shiro absolutely had to marry another man because "MonSantos" were so desperate to cover their asses after they had killed Adam (never mind killing Shiro, "Kuron", and every single one of the other Shiro clones, who are also all gay men), instead of dragging a poor piece of set dressing into fandom ship wars, they should have simply had Shiro marry Coran.
But, that would have required the bigoted hacks behind this cartoon to not be ageist and ableist, not despise Shiro, and have been willing to treat Coran as a character with genuine pathos, instead of the Designated Wacky Comic Relief Alien Man.

There was so much deliberately contempt-filled ineptitude poured into every creative decision made with this landfill fire of#a children's cartoon.#Anyway...#I don't even actively ship Coran/Shiro.#But it makes more sense than last minute pairing Shiro off with a set decoration he's barely spoken to and implying that he settled down on#Earth to become the set decoration's house husband.#Poor 'Curtis' absolutely did NOT deserve to be on the receiving end of vitriol from scorned shippers and I can't see the majority of people#having a poor reaction to Shiro marrying an actual character.#Especially if it allows him to be able to live out his dream and continue to explore space and act as a guiding light for others in need.
