The second piece I contributed to the @mcyt-couture-zine , this one in collaboration with the incredible @earlrot ! I did the lines, he did the gorgeous colors/rendering, and we both brainstormed together on the outfit design. It was super super fun to collaborate with Earlrot on this artwork (everybody go compliment him rn!!!) and I absolutely adore how it came out :D

Okay but like also imagine that the vampire doesn’t realize it and just like.

The human is like “you know… my blood might taste better if I’m properly cared for…” and the vampire is like, “hah very funny your fine” and the human is just like “no I’m serious blood changes slightly from lack of vitamins and nutrients and things you know that right-“

A vampire basically having to be an amazing Caretaker to their blood source because human blood tastes so much better (and maybe more nutritious just for fun) if the human is well fed, happy, calm, ect. Maybe the human wants to stay with the vampire, because honestly this is so much better than their life used to be. They don't have to stress about anything, the food's the best they've ever eaten and they barely ever have to feel scared or sad anymore.

Bonus: The human had a condition that made it much more difficult for them to live life before, whether mental or physical.

Plus, when it comes to writing smut by “high schoolers” erm.

I mean no offense,,, but, first off, 18 year olds? They have a place in nsfw areas, it’s kinda wrong to shut them out because they “aren’t old enough” when,,, they are- at least in my option they are. Shutting 18 year olds out… you’re basically saying “Young adults don’t belong here” which isn’t a good look imo, it leads a way to say even 21+ isn’t allowed.

I get if you want your own event 21+(or now 25+!!) but don’t tell someone else off just because they wanna have them and their friends (who Pen mentioned being 19/20, even-) be able to participate. A lot of the amazing smut writers in this fandom are 18-20/21 it’s just how the fandom is.

Doing a 25+ range is shutting out a mass amount of writers!!!

But again, no hate, if that’s more comfortable to you pop off!! Go you!!! Fr! (/gen!)

rowan was telling me abt the camp cartoon thing (which i didnt participate in obv but which reminded me of artfight) and thatd be so cool for like smut authors

i know there was the. alcohol thing (im so sorry im forgetting the name of this event) thats like the smut version of the sleepybean cafe thing, but that specifically bothered me because its 21+ which would make sense bc you have to be 21 to drink in america... except im friends with smut authors who are like 19/20 who live in places like europe where that rule doesnt exist (as you have to be 18, NOT 21) so it's deterred me a little

but like :( id kill for more smut events. im glad that a lot of stuff is sfw because fanfic should also be sfw and accessible to younger members of the fandom but cmon </3 let me write smut shit for other people in an event itd be cool i think

how many of YOU would be interested in a sanders sides smut fic exchange? (and by smut fic, i mean smutshot)

this hypothetical event currently being crafted would be

A gift exchange-esque event,

Have a 3 month timeframe

3-5 (we'll decide later) prompts submitted per person participating

The ability to claim prompts on a spreadsheet to then write for other people

With a 1k word minimum

it'd be kinda like an nsfw camp cartoon just w/o a point system

this is more of an interest check to see if hypothetically an event like this would actually work, so even if you wont participate in the writing yourself, if you know anyone who will or are willing to share, please tell them so we can determine whether or not this is a viable idea

There’s a class I can start literally tomorrow, and I have to pay like. $240 to do it(3.8k total). Which is insane to me tbh

I know my grandparents offered to help, which will be sick as hell but like.

I don’t know how to make that money quickly yk?

I could also just. Start working for less then two months (as the next class starts in August) but I’m not sure places would take kindly to it?

I didn’t get in. It’s apparently very competitive at the moment, and while they thought I was a good candidate, it ended up going to other people I suppose.

It’s not going to stop me. I’m going to look more into other classes, talk to some friends going through the programs in the area, and get myself the job.

Not gonna let this stop me by any means even if it does suck a little

Already in talks with a few friends who did it, and also signing up through a college as well that pays for the materials and everything so it’s free

(Was looking and there was a two day course for $775 like WHAT. THATS CRAZY MAN.)

So… waiting to hear back from the college, and if their course start is far out then I’ll look for other classes too.
