This is madramang post I think.
We went to Abra nga after our shift then tumuloy kami sa bahay ng manager namin. As a part of our adventure we went to Kaparkan, the trip was so exciting kasi almost every one of us was first timer in Abra. We were scared because of NPA's nga but then naovercome naman namin yon dahil sa bonding.
The place we stay in was realy awesome cause everything was free (free food, free place, and free transport wherever we want to go). Our host was so hospitable.
Then heres the story. There was a guy from these set of my new friends whom I got had a "thing" (sa bus palang) with. You see weirdly these where the times that people go to short-time affairs, entering a no commitment relationship without labels and all.
The story flashes to me like I was some part of a film, from a reality show to a major motion picture. So this guy was so nice. He laugh everytime I joke cause I got bored during our trip (4 hours of trip to kaparkan). Through our stay in Abra he keeps doing this nice stuff (like make alalay and carry my things wherever we go) and starts getting clingy, bringing me to places and holding my hand. He noticed these little details and about me that I realize he was paying attention. I like it. It's been a long time since I felt this. When he holds my hand I think that sparkled the little fire I had in my heart. I was so stupid I didn't expect myself to fall from it.
To cut the story short, I found some love in Abra and eventually lose it when I came back to Baguio. We did not talk much after the trip. It was a story started in Abra and stayed there as well.

Pinsal Falls, Sta. Maria Ilocos Sur
After visiting abramazing place of Abra we head to the majestic Pinsal Falls located at Sta. Maria Ilocos Sur. It is a 1 hour ride from Abra.
Surrounded by  trees carved into the hillside leading you to the top, Pinsal Falls is a must-see destination that the province takes pride in.
Found at the heart of Santa Maria town, with a height of 85 feet, Pinsal Falls or “Twin Falls” is famed for being the largest waterfall in the Ilocos Region. Its natural beauty and romantic atmosphere is a perfect location for many activities including swimming and group picnic. It is also a good travel spot for outdoor adventurers who want to explore the place.
The foliage of big trees surrounding the falls is a good shelter for visitors to take a rest after a long journey. Its crystalline waters cascading down to the two spacious natural pools give visitors unexplained delight. They may opt to climb the top of the falls through the carved steps on the hillside or swim in the pools.

Kaparkan Spring Terraces Falls, Tineg Abra
Early out, packed my bags and hit the road just to chase a waterfall for my post birthday adventure.
This unrated place is one of Abra’s rising attractions and open only during the rainy season.
Saturday night of September 29, we left Baguio to Bangued, Abra via Partas Bus. The fare is P350 per head. There are hotels in Bangued if you prefer to stay there overnight. For us, we stayed at our manager’s house since he is our peeps after all (part of barkada).
It was a cloudy morning when we arrived at meeting place, we were asked to sign a waiver before we started our journey to the waterfall. The tour includes transportation (roundtrip) and 1 tour guide for 1 jeep. If you don’t want to waste a lot of energy, the option is to take a ride on a monster jeep and a 30-minute walk down to the waterfall . Be sure to coordinate with their official tour coordinators for the fees and get yourself ready for a bumpy ride!
After 4 hours of riding monster jeep, we reached Kaparkan Falls at 12:00 p.m. We didn’t have second thoughts! We hurriedly jumped into the water and took a lot of photos. The waterfall consists of multiple shallow and deep basins surrounded by trees. In addition, the rock edges aren’t slippery and your feet could stick to it. It seemed like a man-made marvel but I think it is a naturally-engineered wonder. I could not even find the best word to describe this place but it’s the “Grandest Waterfall in the Philippines”. Every angle is picture perfect for selfies and instagram feeds.
Take note: Please clean up your mess before leaving. There are trash bins in the area. Be aware of the rules and regulations because there are corresponding penalties if you don’t obey. Be responsible.
Keep in mind that Kaparkan Falls is most beautiful during the wet season. Don’t go here during summer because you will not appreciate its beauty when it’s dry.
The struggle and tiredness were worthy! You’ll never regret this! I’ll definitely go back to this amazing place.

Kaparkan Spring Terraces Falls, Tineg Abra
Toploading a jeep for hours and transversing a really rough road, but you were totally worth it.
Yes! this falls is real, and natural!
