#LUCY#band lucy#band lucy fanart#루시#WAJANGCHANG#와장창#kitkatart#i have to be honest i've never done anything like this before and i'm kind of nervous to post it since i don't know what people will think#i'm still not entirely sure what possessed me to do this! i was actually going to draw something else for lucy week#but then i was thinking about how bleu gives such a strong feeling/image and suddenly this idea popped into my head and wouldn't leave#i really wasn't sure if i'd be able to pull these off lol#but! i certainly had fun trying and they did turn out better than expected!#sorry if any of the editing is bad#i did it on my phone in capcut and it was Very late at that point#one might even say early haha#also i know the handwriting for the tracks is bad (especially the hangul...)#but by the time i realized i should've probably written them differently i was Committed#anyway happy lucy comeback!!#i hope the lucys are doing well… ♡#i love this album so much and as i keep listening to it i keep finding more and different things to love about each track#also the song progression in this album is so perfect#except when you listen to bleu and it makes you emotional and then the album loops and you're hit with wakey wakey at full blast 😂#i really didn't create anything for like 2-3 years and now after finding lucy i'm trying all kinds of things i've never done before...#truly i am forever like: what did lucy do to me !!! one thing you won't know until you experience it for yourself when you create art out of love is how it feels when people receive it with love. when you post a doodle and someone keeps it as their lockscreen, or when you write a story and someone tells you they were thinking about it all day, or when you post a poem and someone shares it with a touching caption. doesn't matter if it was objectively good or not. matters that someone spent time with it, that someone really, really liked it, and you made it. this kind of interaction, i think, it can really sustain you for weeks. it can sustain you through a lot of terrible things. its confirmation that you exist, and that (however briefly) your existence was appreciated by someone else through your art.

#not art#oh i was doing so good at creating things until fall/winter hit haha#favorite thing: maybe the girls on a train?#that one turned out pretty cute AND the bg is decent which is a miracle#most time consuming: tie between the lwj birthday drawing in the jingshi and the wkx outfit compilation drawing#i think the lwj one took like... 11 hours?#mostly because i have no idea how to draw backgrounds or complicated poses haha#and the wkx one took like 10.5 i think?#and half of that was just spent on the lineart!!#most prevalent mood in creations: isn't it always happiness love adoration yearning & pining?#i love drawing love and soft things#if i can't have the love they talk about in books for myself then at least i can draw it lol!!!#looking back i think the things i created this year were less interesting/exciting/experimental than the stuff i did last year#which is kind of a bummer but oh well!#it's hard to sustain the kind of passion you feel right when you get into a new thing
