No name has stuck yet, but she's made herself right at home! Her personality has really started to come out now that she's the only cat. She loves belly rubs, laying on my computer when I'm using it and heights. She scaled up my window panes a few days ago--at 3am-- and then got scared when she needed to hop back down. Meet Orange Crush, aka OC! He's a 6 week old kitten who had two other siblings, but someone decided to foster just them and left Crush at the shelter. He was absolutely terrified, having never been away from his siblings before. The older fosters were picking on him in the foster room, so we introduced Crush to Boo and Rhett, who have helped the little guy find his confidence. I picked Belle out of a neighbor cat's litter when I was three years old and named her after my favorite Disney princess. She grew up with me and was the best cat I could have asked for. She would have been 18 in October. Unfortunately, last year she was diagnosed with kidney failure. Her health has been rocky since, and every few months she would go into a crisis, but we were able to pull her through and get her feeling better again. Her kidney failure has been quickly progressing and last week Belle refused almost all food, so Belle's vet and I decided that now was her time. On Tuesday I put my baby girl to sleep. Losing a pet is never easy, especially when you can barely remember life without them. Belle will always have a very special place in my heart and I'll never stop missing her ❤️ (at Charleston, South Carolina)

Briar is such a lovebug! He climbs up onto my shoulder and leans against me purring up a storm while I pet him ❤️He looks like he has a bald muzzle, but I promise he doesn't! He eats food with gravy and gets it all over his face and I had just cleaned it off so his muzzle was pink.
