I...tried to make a meme and got carried away and made A Thing that is like partially unfinished because i spent like 3 hours on it and then got tired.

I think this is mostly scientifically accurate but truth be told, there seems to be relatively little research on succession in regards to lawns specifically (as opposed to like, pastures). I am not exaggerating how bad they are for biodiversity though—recent research has referred to them as "ecological deserts."

when i was a little kid, like 4-6ish, i would play with fire like. all the time. i'm talking i burnt napkins for fun, tried to pop popcorn by holding a match close to the bottom of the bag (succeeded in only burning my finger), and would occasionally PUSH LIT LIGHTERS AGAINST THE WALLS OF MY HOUSE. funnily enough, my house burnt down! but the funny thing is that i had NOTHING to do with it. our refrigerator sparked while my mom, me, and my sisters were at my brother's basketball game and we came back to an inferno. not everything got burnt, and we have some photos that still smell like smoke.

(nobody got injured ! we had a dog at the time but luckily she escaped and we found her 3 days later !! she lived another 10 happy years <3)
