hi i’m doing this again. i’m a mentally unstable trans plural person. my house (along with my whole hometown) burned down a few months ago & i lost most of what i own. i’m not living with my parents anymore, the fighting was getting to be too much and they refused to let me transition or respect my choice to transition. i’m living on a friends couch right now, but long story short many rugs keep getting pulled out from under me. i’ve gotten no insurance money because the insurance company cancelled our fire protection the month before the fire. i’m trying to get my id reissued but the years of neglect in my childhood means what paperwork i do have is outdated enough to be unusable. i can’t seek legal employment because of this. i’m working on it & should be able to get it reissued but in the mean time i need help. any money you could give would be huge, but even if you can’t donate a reblog would help. thank you so much <3

it's been years and it's still genuinely crazy to me that the first two seasons of stranger things had this throughline where all the bad things that were happening in hawkins were directly caused by the us government and that they were excusing the awful things they were doing to their own citizens (children!) through cold war/red scare reactionism. and then in season three there was a secret russian base under the town mall.
