My headcanons for Chirisu

(Because, guess what, I have yapped about these two for ~180k words now and still have no headcanons post for them on this platform)

Soooooooo...

As you can see, I'm bored af today and I've decided that this is going to be a good time for me to hash out some core ideas (I guess?) that I have about Chirisu in my apple cider series.

Mandatory disclaimer that these are fueled by my own delusion over these two (so the hcs are literally all over the place), English is not my first language, and this post will have both SFW and NSFW contents (NSFW will be put under the cut, but STILL) so you have been warned.

I. SFW:

Chishiya is older than Arisu by about 3 years in apple cider.

Chishiya's priorities are solitude, quiet places and Arisu. Arisu's priorities are his friends, games, and Chishiya.

In public, they call each other by their last names (Chishiya, Arisu), but in private they call each other by the short version of their first name (so Shun and Ryō). Additionally, sometimes they will use "dear" when they are in the mood for some fun banters.

They actually spend an abnormal amount of time hanging out with each other before they become a thing. People definitely notice this and have teased them to various degrees, with Kuina being the main instigator.

Classic Avoidant attachment x Anxious attachment relationship when they first started. They work it out with a lot of healthy communication though.

From when they first kiss to when they get together takes about a year and a half. Truly slow-burn in a sense, but once their relationship is a bit more stable, they are, really, just down bad for (and protective of) each other.

Chishiya reluctantly comes to Kuina sometimes for relationship advices, while Arisu asks Usagi to help him with that, then the two girls will talk about those things during their dinner time (as they are girlfriends in apple cider).

Arisu falls first, Chishiya falls harder (but they fall in each other's arms so what's the fucking matter—?)

Arisu doesn't cook (and Chishiya bans him from cooking after he nearly burnt down his kitchen). Instead, they have their own little schedule: Chishiya cooks, Arisu cleans, or they have take-outs when both of them are busy with work.

Chishiya finds it comforting when he comes home to the sound of Arisu playing video games. It reminds him that his lonely past is long behind him now.

Chishiya's biggest regret is the Beach and what he has done back there, and even when Arisu explicitly states that he forgives him, he still has nightmares about the day he betrayed his partner.

Arisu loves cuddling with Chishiya, and even when the latter always complains to some degrees about how hot it is, they both know it's nothing more than some lighthearted annoyances.

The amount of rain kisses they've shared is crazy...

Chishiya smokes at times when he's not in a good mood. Arisu doesn't like it, but he knows his partner will not overuse cigarettes to cope with his problems. Still, he will step in when he feels like he needs to (and Chishiya lets him do so as he pleases).

They actually are both sad drunks (lol). Chishiya will open up a bit more when he's tipsy, while Arisu asks people if he's a burden to them, then apologizes about it no matter what the answers are.

They love teasing each other about trivial matters. Their daily conversations are full of banters and surprisingly chill overall.

When things are extremely difficult for them — which is few and far between now that they have each other — they will use sign language to communicate. However, they will never go a day without talking to each other.

Big arguments are rare for them. Truly a peaceful and loving relationship.

II. NSFW: (TW for Mental Health Issues and Explicit Sexual Content)

They start off as FWBs. Switch dynamic, though Chishiya likes being on top slightly more than Arisu.

During their FWBs phase, they are actually rough with each other — not to the point of inflicting pain or ignoring boundaries/consents, but it's definitely different than how they are now when it comes to sex.

They actually both use sex to cope with their issues. It backfires (spectacularly of course) when Arisu collapses due to exhaustion, and that health scare stops them from having sex for a few months while they focus on getting the help they both really need at the time.

When it's Arisu's turn to top, he's very, very handsy (in a good way). Lots of caressing/kissing/marking hickeys, you name it. Loves to worship his partner and makes the man feel good. Very sweet in bed.

Chishiya likes taking time with prepping. He doesn't like the idea of hurting his partner (he's a doctor after all), and making Arisu cum from just opening him up or sucking him off (or both, which is usually the case for them) is a huge boost for his ego.

Lots of orgasm teasing/edging. Chishiya likes hearing his partner beg, and Arisu loves it too, so win-win.

They both have decent stamina and healthy libido, with Arisu being on the higher end of the spectrum (lol).

Chishiya is a bit of a quiet lover. Arisu, on the other hand... (but also, can you really blame him though?)

Aftercare and cuddles are a must once they finish. Not having them is a no-no for these two men.

1. He watched other kids play, but he never joined in.

2. He learned that silence kept him out of trouble.

3. He stopped asking for help when nobody listened.

4. He taught himself not to flinch when people raised their voices.

5. He was always the last one picked, but he pretended not to care.

6. He watched his parents more than they ever looked at him.

7. He used to talk to himself because nobody would talk to him.

8. He thought being useful was the only way to be loved.

9. He was jealous of people who cried because he couldn't.

10. He apologized even when he hadn’t done anything wrong.

11. He practiced smiling in the mirror, so people would stop asking what was wrong.

12. He felt the safest when he was alone.

13. He noticed everything, especially things that no child should.

14. He stopped bringing home drawings because nobody acknowledged them.

15. He pretended he didn’t hear his parents arguing.

16. He learned how to bandage himself because nobody cared if he got hurt.

17. He wondered if people would notice if he disappeared.
