When I found out I was cast to play Selina Kyle in the new Batman, I was beyond excited. It had been a while since my last project, and I was excited to finally put work into something new.

The first day was always the worst though. Breaking the tension and getting to know everyone just made me anxious. But this time it was different.

Meeting the cast went smoothly. We all introduced ourselves and got to know each other. I was a bit more nervous to meet Rob than anyone else, but it turns out he is actually really funny and was comfortable to be around.

As the months of filming went on, Rob and I became really close friends, from laughing and joking around on set to texting each other almost every night. We even had a few inside jokes.

I wouldn’t say I developed a crush on him, but I did find myself looking forward to the next months of filming with him.

Maybe I did develop feelings, but I just pushed those thoughts out of my mind. I didn’t want to risk a really good friendship.

Weeks went by, and the texts at night started becoming phone calls. We didn’t have much time to sit down and talk while on set, we both kept it professional, but did laugh and joke around a few times on set.

We started to hang out at night. He would come to my hotel room or the other way around, and we would talk for hours.

It got to the point where Matt even pulled me aside, asking me to keep whatever is going on between me and Rob on the down-low. I assured him that Rob and I were just friends and he had nothing to worry about. He didn’t believe me though.

The months went by and we eventually wrapped up filming. We all went back to our homes until it was time for the press tour after the movie was released.

I kept in touch with Rob, we even met up a few times. Paparazzi managed to get a few photos of us together, and that’s when dating rumors began. I found a lot of the rumors hilarious, one was that Matt found us two fucking on the Batmobile. Gotta love the internet.

The movie was released now and it was time for the press tour. Meeting up with the cast again was nice. Seeing Rob again was nice. It’s like we picked up right where we left off.

“Hey love birds, come on!” I heard Matt say, telling us it was time to go on stage.

We all walked out onto the stage, sitting in our seats, microphones on the table in front of us. Fans came up, asking all of us questions. It was nice to hear all their questions and see their genuine love for this movie.

One fan came up to the microphone, she looked young, maybe in her early teens. “Hi, my question is for Y/n. What was it like working with everyone? Did you have fun with filming the movie? And are you and Robert dating?”

I moved slightly closer to my microphone, “Hey! Working with everyone was amazing. Everyone was professional and provided a comfortable environment to work in. And I did have a lot of fun filming with everyone.”

“You didn’t answer their last question, Y/n.” Paul said, causing the crowd to laugh.

“For your last question, Rob and I aren’t dating.” I laughed.

“Not yet.” Rob said into his microphone, causing the whole crowd to scream.

I was in my hotel room when I heard a knock on my door. Opening it, I saw Rob standing there with takeout.

“Hungry?” He asked.

I smiled, letting him in. We ate our food together, and now I was cuddled into him on the couch, watching a movie.

I looked up at him, only to see him staring down at me. “What?” I asked.

He leaned down, attaching his lips to mine. His hands went to my waist, pushing me down, as he crawled on top of me. The kiss got deeper before I pulled away.

“Can we take this slow?” I asked, tracing his lips with my thumb.

“Yea.” He said, attaching his lips to mine again.

Little did I know this was the start of something great.
