that tweet about how every so often somebody reinvents Homestuck will eternally be relevant because Homestuck itself references so much random, unrelated shit that it's probably one of the easiest pieces of media to accidentally reference. Like off the top of head, things that could result in accidental Homestuck references include playing cards, pool/billiards, astrology, DNA sequences, the Caduceus, Betty Crocker, fruit gushers, Insane Clown Posse, Guy Fieri, Con Air (1997), Drop It Like It's Hot, aviator sunglasses, the word "grimdark", typing in such a way where you replace certain letters with numbers, and the mere concept of horses. and for the people who know enough about Homestuck all of these things become inextricably linked to that accursed webcomic. It's like how Supernatural somehow had a reaction gif for every situation back in the day but with a different kind of cringe
